The 29-year-old was one of Al-Hilal’s best players as they won the Saudi Pro League in 2023-24. The gifted central midfielder played 30 times in the Saudi Arabian top flight last season, scoring 11 times and providing 12 assists. He also scored once and claimed two assists in eight AFC Champions League games.
Boasting an overall rating of 86, Joao Cancelo is the highest-rated Saudi Pro League defender in EA Sports FC 25. The Portugal international, whose overall rating is unchanged from FC 24, has 81 Pace, 73 Shooting, 85 Passing, 85 Dribbling, 80 Defending, and 72 Physical Strength.
The former Manchester City full-back spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Barcelona. He featured in 42 games for the Blaugrana in all competitions, chipping in with four goals and five assists. Cancelo reportedly wanted to join Barca permanently in the summer transfer window, but economic constraints kept the club from pulling off the move.
Real Madrid legend and Al-Ittihad talisman Karim Benzema is in third place, with the Frenchman’s overall rating sitting at 86 — a four-point drop from FC 24. The 2022 Ballon d’Or winner has 77 Pace, 85 Shooting, 81 Passing, 84 Dribbling, 38 Defending, and 77 Physical Strength in EA FC 25.
Benzema, who moved to Al-Ittihad as a free agent after running down his Real Madrid contract last July, had a hard time keeping himself fit in the 2023-24 season. The 36-year-old could only feature in 29 games in all competitions, scoring 13 times and providing eight assists. Al-Ittihad will need their talisman at his best to mount a title challenge this season.
Carrying an overall rating of 86, Cristiano Ronaldo is the second-best player in EA FC 25. Ronaldo has 77 Pace, 88 Shooting, 77 Passing, 80 Dribbling, 34 Defending, and 77 Physical Strength. The 39-year-old had the same overall rating in FC 24.
The oldest forward in the Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo, has every right to be disappointed with his rating. The five-time UEFA Champions League winner enjoyed a breath-taking season with Al-Nassr, scoring 35 times and providing 11 assists in 31 matches in the Saudi Pro League. He comfortably finished as the division’s top scorer and highest goal contributor. The former Manchester United talisman also shone in the AFC Champions League, scoring six times in eight games.
Unfortunately, his teammates could not match up to him and Al-Nassr ended the season without a major trophy.
Al-Hilal superstar Neymar is currently the best Saudi Pro League player in EA Sports FC 25, with his overall rating sitting at 87. In FC 25, Neymar has 85 Pace, 79 Shooting, 84 Passing, 92 Dribbling, 37 Defending, and 60 Physical Strength. The Brazil international, who joined the club from Paris Saint-Germain for a league-record €90 million ($99.76 million) in August 2023, had an overall 89 rating in FC 24.
The 32-year-old is fortunate to be the highest-rated player in EA Sports FC 25, as he spent almost the entirety of the 2023-24 season on the sidelines. After playing only five games for his new employers, Neymar tore his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL). He has yet to return to action.
Before suffering the season-ending injury, the former Barcelona attacker scored once and provided three assists across competitions.
