The Los Angeles Lakers shocked the entire NBA world last week when they traded star big man Anthony Davis for star guard Luka Doncic. Many have been wondering when Doncic would make his debut for Los Angeles but it seems that it will be delayed.
Doncic was supposed to be activated for the game this weekend against the Indiana Pacers but now it will come next week. Nonetheless, the Lakers will move forward with the roster they have in place before the new star takes the court.

Here are the top three options for Los Angeles to bolster the roster for the playoff run.
With the need for another guard, wing-type player, Harris could make some sense. Orlando could look to get rid of him on the roster as he hasn’t been super productive this season.
The veteran has only averaged 3.8 points per game this season but could be a nice addition to the bench.
Boucher does need to be bought out by the Raptors before any of this matters. But it could happen as he will be a free agent at the end of the season.
Los Angeles could face some competition for him if he were to hit the market, namely from the Denver Nuggets. But Boucher could be a sneaky addition for the Lakers frontcourt if they were able to add him to the team.
Richardson could be the perfect boyout candidate for the Lakers. After all the trades, the team needs some depth in the backcourt and Richardson could easily fill that role.
Normally a strong 3-point shooter, Richardson could give this team some quality minutes off the bench. The veteran guard was just released by the Utah Jazz so he will be available if the Lakers are interested in his services.
