White Jr., a 6-8, 195 forward from Charlotte, N.C., is playing at IMG Academy (Fla.) in his senior year, after transferring from Myers Park High School (N.C.). ESPN.com has him rated as a five-star prospect and the 15th-best recruit in the class of 2025. White Jr. was a four-star performer, rated 26th overall, and ranked seventh among power forwards by 247 Sports. Rivals.com ranks White Jr. a four-star player, 32nd overall and sixth among power forwards in the Class of 2025.
White Jr. was part of the Mustangs’ 2022-23 4A state championship team that was 28-4 his sophomore year. In his junior campaign, 2023-24, he averaged 16.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. The Mustangs were 27-3 overall and reached the state quarterfinals. White Jr. was a 2024 Max Preps Honorable Mention All-American and made the 2024 North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association (NCBCA) All-State Team.
He competed for Team United in the 2024 EYBL Champions League summer AAU season. White Jr. competed in 15 contests and averaged 15.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per outing. In the prestigious Peach Jam Tournament, White Jr. posted averages of 17.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest. He had 25 points and 12 boards in a win against Vegas Elite.
