The political situation in Bangladesh remains unpredictable and volatile following the resignation of Sheikh Hasina as the prime minister on Monday (Aug 5). Hasina fled to India and would be leaving for London. as per reports. The Bangladesh army announced the formation of an interim government. The US embassy in Dhaka issued an advisory for all American nationals in Bangladesh, asking them to be in a safe place and consider returning to the US.
