There’s no doubt that the NFL is loaded with elite talent in the wide receiver position: from the league’s cemented superstars such as Justin Jefferson and Tyreek Hill, as well as the talented incoming freshman class that features the likes of Marvin Harrison and Malik Nabers, there’s no shortage of talent. But who makes the top 10? Find out in my latest wide receiver rankings down below.
1- Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
Jefferson’s back to stay in Minnesota, with a new contract that made him the highest-paid wide receiver in the league, and for good reason. Despite playing in just ten games last year, Jefferson surpassed 1,000 yards and made 70 receptions. Since entering the NFL in his rookie season, Jefferson has been nothing short of incredible. He’s never had a season below 1,400 yards until he was injured. While his resume is long, accomplishing so much, he is only 24 years old. The future is bright for the LSU star.
2- Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins
Even though Jefferson earned the number one spot on this list, there’s certainly a case to be made for Hill to take that spot. The Dolphins’ superstar is coming off one of the best seasons in NFL history, finishing with 119 catches for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns. If it weren’t for a late-season leg injury, he might have been able to eclipse 2,000 yards. Hill is a complete game-changer for any opposing defense and has to be accounted for on every single play as he has home-run ability anytime the ball is in his hands.

3- A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles
Brown was great in Tennessee, but since his arrival in Philadelphia, his game has been at another level. Brown had 106 catches for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns. The Eagles’ offense constantly relied on Brown to perform in big games, and he delivered consistently. The Ole Miss star is poised for yet another big season, and with Kellen Moore now calling the plays for the Eagles, it should be refreshing to have an experienced, solid play caller down the stretch of the season.
4- CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys
Lamb has been phenomenal since entering the league, but last year he really turned it up a notch and was the focal point of the Cowboys’ offense. Lamb snagged 135 balls last year to go with 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns. If he continues to perform the way he has been, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him climb his way to the top of this list. The Oklahoma star is a superb route runner with some underrated run-after-catch ability, and is still only 25.
5- Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
Chase is another player who has been dominant since entering the league and, frankly, is underrated. His quarterback, Joe Burrow, had some medical problems, so we haven’t seen much of them together recently. If Burrow remains healthy, this LSU duo is nothing short of unstoppable. The Bengals took a lot of heat in the 2021 NFL Draft for selecting a wide receiver over an obvious need for an offensive lineman, but selecting Chase has worked out in their favor. Using his savvy route running skills to break defensive backs down, Chase has the ability to take any route to the house — which makes him a true all-around player.
6- Davante Adams, Las Vegas Raiders
Adams is getting older, but his production hasn’t slowed at all. We all saw Adams’ dominance in Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers, and his dominance prevailed despite the move to Las Vegas. It’s also important to account for the atrocious play-calling Adams dealt with under former head coach Josh McDaniels and interim offensive play-caller Bo Hardegree. Nevertheless, regardless of who is at quarterback or calling plays, Adams is stellar. The future Hall of Famer has been tearing defenses apart for a decade and isn’t slowing down one bit. Adams is a rare receiver whose seemingly effortless route running is like poetry in and out of breaks.
7- Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers
Aiyuk’s name has been in the news often recently, seeking a new contract after the 49ers’ Super Bowl loss. Since then, trade rumors have also emerged after there was no agreement. But this doesn’t mean he won’t stay in the Bay. However, if they were to trade him, John Lynch should get some elite value for their star. Aiyuk has shined over the past couple of seasons, living up to his first-round pick back in 2020. Like most on this list, Aiyuk is a pure route technician who frequently leaves defensive backs confused. 49ers fans should accept the fact that Aiyuk is a far better player than Deebo Samuel, and someone worth keeping.
8- Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
The former fourth-round pick out of USC has been a complete steal since entering the league. St. Brown has improved every year he’s played and has been one of the most consistent weapons from the slot. Ben Johnson, the Lions’ offensive coordinator, has done a tremendous job of putting St. Brown in a position to make plays. While St. Brown is great after the catch, he is still a proven route runner and can keep defenders guessing early, too.
9- DJ Moore, Chicago Bears
I’ve seen plenty of people on social media question Moore, especially since Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze joined the Bears’ receiving core. But I feel confident that Moore can still perform at a great level this season. Moore received a 90-grade against man coverage and had his best season last year in Chicago. Moore is consistently producing despite poor quarterback play, and will now get the opportunity to work with Caleb Williams in 2024. Last year, Moore had career-high numbers, grabbing 96 receptions, 1364 yards, and eight touchdowns.
10- Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
Coming out of Ohio State, Wilson was thought of as an elite route runner. He has lived up to that assessment in the league. Since entering the league, Wilson has had back-to-back seasons with over 1,000 yards, despite some of the worst quarterback play in the league. We still haven’t seen Wilson’s true potential, but hopefully, with Aaron Rodgers back, we can see the full potential of the Ohio State star. In my opinion, Wilson is just getting started and hasn’t even scratched the surface of what he could become.
