The online gambling eradication task force will implement a block on game top up activities that contain elements of online gambling. In the future, any activity that smells like gambling games will be eradicated by blocking it via top up services.
Reporting from Bisnis.com, the newly formed Task Force immediately launched an attack on top-up Judol games which are popular with the public. According to the Head of the Online Gambling Eradication Task Force, Hadi Tjahjanto, this blocking will target mini markets that provide e-wallet top up services used for online gambling transactions.
According to him, they can differentiate between transactions that lead to online gambling and which do not. So, it is appropriate for the task force to close the source of game top up services affiliated with Judol.
Hadi Tjahjanto said that this action was based on online data findings based on demographics from the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK). So that later they will have the right target for those whose services will be closed, in this context it is the mini market.
Apart from blocking, other efforts to eradicate judol were also carried out by Kominfo by closing the Network Access Provider (NAP). This effort will close access to providers from abroad to block access for players in Indonesia.
This is done because most of the online gambling servers in question are not located within the country. What do you think bro? Is this step appropriate?
