Top players from across Ross-shire took part in the Firth Cup at Tain Tennis Club .
The annual tournament between three tennis clubs – Fortrose, Strathpeffer and Tain started in 2005.
A turnout of 26 players, 10 men and 16 ladies took part in the tournament. Tain was named as the top club winning the overall tournament for the first time since 2017.
Competition spokesman John Waring said: Fortunately the weather was perfect and all the matches were played in a wonderful sporting spirit.
“There were three Round Robin tournaments – Mixed Doubles in the Morning followed by a Buffet Lunch and Raffle and then Men’s and Ladies Doubles in the Afternoon.
Each match consisted of four games and wherever possible pairings consisted of players from different clubs.

Winners – Patsy Alexander (Fortrose) and Sylvia Hulme (Strathpeffer)
