UBS downgrades BEL stock to ‘Neutral’ after Q1FY25 results; Here is WHY
In its report, UBS pointed out that, typical of a long-cycle business, BEL has experienced a significant 145 per cent stock rally over the past 12 months, largely driven by a 70 per cent increase in order intake in FY24 compared to management guidance. Earnings upgrades during this period were 13 per cent, reflecting a strong valuation re-rating.

Kansai Nerolac gains 3% as Q1 results beat estimates
>> Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. reported a 69.3% year-on-year decline in net profit for Q1FY25, though it beat analysts’ estimates.
>> The paint manufacturer recorded a net profit of Rs 225 crore for the quarter-ended June, as compared to Rs 734 crore in the same quarter last year, according to its stock exchange notification.

>> The oral hygiene product maker clocked a 33 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 363.98 crore during Q1FY25, helped by a demand pickup and good performance of products. The FMCG major reported its net profit at Rs 273.68 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
