LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — UNLV has launched a flash sale of tickets for the conference opener next week.
In honor of the Rebels being ranked in the USA Today Coaches’ Top 25 poll for the first time, the university says it will offer tickets to the game against Fresno State for $25.

The promotion lasts through 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17. A maximum of eight tickets can be purchased.
The Rebels are 3-0 to start the season and will be off this weekend. The game against Fresno State is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Allegiant Stadium.
A Salmond Sit Down with Mark Smith. A man who’s done a lot, but still has a lot to do. Smith is a current Nevada State referee coming off one of the UFC’s most amazing events – Noche UFC inside Sphere Las Vegas.
Smith was the third person inside the Octagon for the co-main event between Women’s Flyweight Champion Alexa Grasso and now two-time champion Valentina Shevchenko.
Smith is a part-time referee who works full-time as a commercial pilot. He’s also a former Air Force pilot who was a flight instructor and flew with the Thunderbirds.
Smith started as an amateur mixed martial arts referee nearly 16 years ago, and has been integral in making Power Slap a respectable sport by helping Dana White establish procedural and safety rules.
