A VERY classy sports car with a blistering top speed of 190 mph can be picked up for a surprisingly low price.
The mythical Bentley Continental is known for incredible power combined with top-of-the-range luxury – all for under the cost of Britain’s cheapest new car.
Currently, the cheapest new car drivers can pick up is the very basic Dacia Sandero – which has a list price of £13,795.
However, while its second-hand, we found a Continental GT Coupe from 2004 with 114,000 miles on the clock for £12,995.
Available via AutoTrader, this luxury motor comes finished in ‘Dark Sapphire Blue’ with a ‘Portland and Nautic Hide’. C
The listing added: “This GT really does look, drive and smell like it has done a fraction of those miles.”
It also suggests that, having once cost over £130,000 when it was new, the price of £12,995 represents “absolutely outstanding value.”
The Bentley Continental GT has been around since 2003 and is currently on its fourth generation model.
The example for sale is the first-gen version, which boasts a 6.0-litre W12 twin-turbo engine with a 6-speed transmission.
According to Bentley, the Continental GT Coupe can reach up to 198 mph and hit 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds.
A famous enthusiast of the Continental GT Coupe was pop musician Prince, who owned a 2006 model in Baby Blue.
