IOWA CITY, Iowa– The Hawkeye women’s basketball team scored a massive commitment from Villanova point guard Lucy Olsen. That type of talent coming into Iowa can help them return to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament. Pairing Olsen alongside Hannah Stuelke, Sydney Affolter and a plethora of other pieces was smart roster management. After a busy recruiting weekend, let’s dive into some of what my sources are telling me. 

— A few sources were in Hampton, VA to watch several of the top prospects in the country. One of those prospects was 2026 point guard Maddyn Greenway. The daughter of former Iowa linebacker Chad Greenway is ranked No. 16 in the country by ESPN, but I gotta tell you, I think she’s underrated.
