In the eyes of Scout Willis, Demi Moore is already a huge winner this awards season.
“[I’m most proud of] her grace and her absolute joy and love for all of the other nominees,” Willis, 33, exclusively told Us Weekly at Cure Addiction Now‘s inaugural fundraising evening on Monday, February 24. “She made sure to reach out personally to every other actress in the category in anything she’s been nominated in.”
From Willis’ perspective, the way her mom has moved through countless award shows this year “is so unbelievably gracious and humble, and she wants to use this performance and any opportunity she has to speak to be of service. That’s just who she is.”
This weekend, Moore, 62, is nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2025 Oscars thanks to her performance in The Substance. She has already walked away with trophies at the 2025 Golden Globes and 2025 SAG Awards.
With Moore’s first Oscars nomination happening 40 years into her career, Willis believes her mom is proof that one should never put a time limit on their dreams.
“Did you see Jane Fonda at the SAG Awards? Hello!” Willis said when praising the 87-year-old’s acceptance speech for the Lifetime Achievement Award. “I do think it’s a choice. I really do. I think it’s a way of life. I hear people who are younger than me say ‘Oh, I’m so old now.’ And I met a woman when she was 93 and she told me she only came into her own in her 80s. I do really believe that having unwavering faith in yourself and what you want to create and what you want to do builds your reality. I really believe that.”
Moore’s latest milestones serve as inspiration for Willis to go after her own dreams.
While supporting Cure Addiction Now, the actress stepped out in a L’AGENCE dress and performed two original songs including “Over and Over” and “Last Night.”
The star-studded event helped raise $800,000 for Nancy Davis’ nonprofit dedicated to funding innovative research for substance use disorder.

“Singing is happening. Acting is happening,” Willis teased about her professional life. “I’m so thrilled. I feel so grateful.”
She’s also pumped to support her mom at the biggest awards show of the year. Although Willis is staying mum on where she will be when the winners are announced at the Oscars, it’s clear she will be cheering for her mom.
“It’ll be PJs or gowns,” she joked, “one or the other.”
