His Yasuda Kinen victory earned a 121 rating, putting him alongside American star National Treasure.

Dubai’s Laurel River remains king with a 128 rating, but Romantic Warrior is now a major player.

Meanwhile, Aussie mare Pride Of Jenni is the world’s best so far in 2024 after her Queen Elizabeth Stakes win.

Her jockey, James McDonald, also extended his lead in the world jockey rankings with 116 points. Europe’s finest will challenge him at Royal Ascot next week, though.
