It appears that Pennsylvania online casinos are truly on a roll, as the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) released the revenue figures for online gambling in May.
The numbers exceeded $200 million for the fourth month running. Figures for iGaming revenue throughout May reached $216.5 million, making up for April’s slight dip.
Online casinos in the Keystone State registered a sharp increase of 23.50% in overall revenue from internet gaming. Slots were responsible for a substantial portion of this increase, seeing a 26.15% jump from just over $100 million in May 2023 to almost $127 million this year.
However, table games are also on the rise as we’ve seen this month rake in almost $45 million, another huge leap from the figure from last year, which stood at just under $38 million. The total tax revenue generated for the state throughout May is $76,063,660.
