Australian cricketer Marnus Labuschagne has pulled off a contender for catch of the year during Glamorgan’s T20 Blast match against Gloucestershire in Cardiff on Thursday.
Chasing a 141-run target for victory at Sophia Gardens, Gloucestershire was in early trouble at 4-45 when Ben Charlesworth slapped a full delivery from Glamorgan leg-spinner Mason Crane down the ground.
Labuschagne, sprinting across from long-on, lunged to his right and snatched the ball inches from the turf in a remarkable diving effort. The Queenslander was mobbed by his Glamorgan teammates as Charlesworth departed for 10 (8).
