The Munich matchup between the struggling Panthers and Giants is light on offensive stars, but underrated Carolina RB Chuba Hubbard offers some value.
The fourth-year back broke out as this team’s starter a year ago, with 900 yards rushing and five rushing TDs while playing in every game, and he’s taken an impressive step forward in 2024.
Hubbard has already scored six touchdowns (five rushing, one receiving) in nine games despite poor QB play by Bryce Young and Andy Dalton. A year after averaging just 3.8 yards per carry, he’s also quietly averaging 5.0 yards per carry on 133 attempts, with an outstanding success rate of 57.9 that is fourth-best in the league.
That makes Hubbard’s +120 ATTD odds enticing, especially after he scored twice on the ground against the Saints last Sunday, then signed a long-term contract earlier this week to remain a Panther through 2028. That should lead to a heavy workload as the Panthers look to keep Young out of third-and-long against a talented Giants pass rush featuring former Panthers EDGE Brian Burns.
Another reason to like Hubbard to find the end zone today is his matchup against the Giants D. This unit boasts a star DT, Dexter Lawrence, who is in the mix for NFL Defensive Player of the Year (his current odds at DraftKings are +900), but it is allowing a league-worst 5.2 yards per carry.
Each of the last three teams the Giants faced ran for at least 149 yards, with Philadelphia gashing Big Blue for 269 yards and three TDs back in Week 7.
Hubbard is a good bet to find the end zone in what is expected to be a low-scoring slugfest for German fans of American football.

Sticking with NFC South running backs, Atlanta’s Bijan Robinson is great value at this price, as he is listed at as short as -180 in this market at other sportsbooks.
Robinson did not score in Atlanta’s 27-21 win over Dallas last Sunday, but he did rack up 26 touches (19 carries and seven receptions). As long as he’s anywhere near that involved today, we love him to cash this ATTD bet.
While Robinson was held out of the end zone last Sunday, he had scored four touchdowns in the Falcons’ previous three games (two on the ground vs. Carolina in Week 6, one on the ground vs. Seattle in Week 7, and one TD reception vs. Tampa Bay in Week 8).
The red-hot Falcons, who have won five of their last six games, have plenty of weapons. That makes backing Robinson to score a bit daunting, but he’s too talented, and too heavily featured (he’s had 18 total rushes/receptions in each of the last four weeks, including 24 or more in two of the last three games) to ignore at any price longer than -150.
