Myles Garrett, defensive end for the Cleveland Browns, is arguably one of the best defender in the NFL. To start with, he has monstrous athleticism and strength. There are multiple videos on Garrett working out and each one is more impressive than the other. He can easily squat 635 pounds like it’s nothing. He has done box jumps of 5 feet or more. Simply out, he’s a freak of nature and scary sight on the field.
Garrett was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the 2017 NFL draft and was the number one pick. So far in his career, he has shown the blueprint for what a number pick should look like. He was the Defensive Player of the Year in 2023 and has been selected to the Pro-Bowl 6 times. Garrett has also been selected to the All-Pro first team four times and the All-Pro second team 2 times in his career. The man gave it his all in Cleveland. Unfortunately, the Browns don’t have the right pieces around him to contend for a championship.

So far in his career, Garrett has recorded 20 forced fumbles, 102.5 sacks, 352 total tackles, and 200 quarterback hits. He has been a bright star in what has been a disaster of a squad in Cleveland. The Browns traded away Baker Mayfield a couple of seasons ago and now he’s thriving with the Buccaneers. They are a mess of an organization who has had ownership/managements issues, Quarterback instability, and injuries have plagued this team.
It is no surprise that a player like Myles Garrett would ask out. However, the big question is where can Myles Garrett go to contend for a title? Let’s find out.
Myles Garrett will be a hot commodity and there will be many teams that will want to recruit Garrett’s defensive services. Let us look at the top 5 places he can go to-
After the Chiefs knocked the Bills out of the playoffs, majority blamed the offense but what about the defensive side of the field? The Bills have given up an average of 34 points to the Chiefs, in the playoffs. They always seem like they’re one piece away from getting over the hump. That piece could be Myles Garrett.
The Packers were knocked out of the playoffs by the Philadelphia Eagles in the wildcard round. The Packers have already moved on from losing their quarterback in Aaron Rodgers and are looking to contend again with the new core. Myles Garrett wants to contend for a title and he has made that very clear in his statement. The Packers have always been in the mix to contend so why not join forces?
The Commanders just went on a run, in the postseason and only came up short against the NFC representatives of the 2024 Super Bowl. They already have an elite offense and are just a couple of key pieces away. Myles Garrett could be the perfect fit for the Commanders and help them with their defense. Washington gave up 55 points to the Eagles and scored 23 points. Seems like an elite defensive end could fix a lot of that problem for them.
The Lions have some of the best rosters in the NFL. They are right about ready to contend for a Super Bowl trophy. They lost against the Commanders in the postseason but still have some of the most complete squads in the NFL with an excellent head coach. However, they could use some defensive help and Garrett would be perfect for them.
The Rams already have a potential juggernaut of an offense but their defense could use some more work. Adding Myles Garrett to the mix could fix all of those problems for the Rams and possibly made a deep run in the playoffs.
These are, in our opinion, the best trade destinations for Myles Garrett. His statement that he issued talked about how he wants to compete for a Super Bowl trophy and we think the teams mentioned above, wants to do just that.
