The NFL DFS player pool for 49ers (2-3) vs. Seahawks (3-2) on Thursday Night Football in Week 6 of the 2024 NFL schedule is filled with top options like Deebo Samuel, Jordan Mason, DK Metcalf and Kenneth Walker. However, to win big on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings, daily Fantasy football players need to find values to include in NFL DFS picks as well. Jake Bobo is an undrafted receiver in his second NFL season and although he is not often a highly-targeted pass-catcher, he finds his way on the field by being a strong blocker and has played at least 30% of snaps in three games this season. Simply being on the field provides opportunities and at his price tag, it could only take one catch to provide value for NFL DFS lineups. Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. ET.
Should daily Fantasy football players consider Bobo in their Thursday Night Football NFL DFS strategy? 49ers running back Kyle Juszczyk had played more than 55% of snaps in every game this season as the 49ers are one of the few teams to feature a fullback, so could he provide value for NFL DFS picks? Before locking in any NFL DFS lineups for Seahawks vs. 49ers on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, be sure to check out the NFL DFS lineup advice, strategy and player stacks from SportsLine NFL daily Fantasy expert Jimmie Kaylor.
Kaylor is a NFL and DFS expert for SportsLine, who opened the 2022 NFL season by winning DraftKings’ NFL Showdown Thursday Kickoff Millionaire contest. He edged out over 355,000 other entrants in the contest and also has multiple five-figure tournament wins on his DFS resume. Kaylor, who cashed big all season in 2022, has covered the NFL and college football for close to a decade as a member of the Pro Football Writers of America, and his background as a former college and NFL player gives him a unique perspective when building his fantasy lineups and locking in his betting picks on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel.
Kaylor hit on epic NFL DFS picks for SportsLine members throughout the 2022 and 2023 seasons. In 2022, he was all over Travis Kelce’s four-touchdown performance against the Raiders on Monday Night Football, Kirk Cousins‘ 460-yard, four-TD performance on Thanksgiving Day, and T.J. Hockenson’s 13 catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns in Week 15. In 2023, he hit on Ja’Marr Chase’s massive Week 5 performance (15 catches, 192 yards, three TDs), D.J. Moore’s eight catches for 230 yards and three touchdowns in Week 14, and De’Von Anchane’s breakout performance (233 total yards, four TD’s) in Week 3. Anyone who followed his picks is way up.
This season, in the Sao Paulo game one of Kaylor’s top picks was Green Bay wide receiver Jayden Reed, who caught four passes for 138 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 33 yards and a score, and James Cook, who scored three touchdowns on Thursday Night Football against the Dolphins.
Now, Kaylor has turned his attention to 49ers vs. Seahawks on Thursday Night Football in Week 6 and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see his picks and analysis at SportsLine.
One of Kaylor’s top NFL DFS picks for Thursday Night Football is 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel. Before San Francisco traded for Christian McCaffrey, Samuel was the jack-of-all-trades uber-versatile weapon in the offense. Samuel had 1,770 total yards (1,405 receiving and 365 rushing) rushing in 2021, the third-most in the NFL. The 28-year-old missed Week 3 with a hamstring injury, but now that he’s approaching a month since first suffering the injury, the 49ers should have a healthier Samuel and could look to utilize his skills in different ways with better health.
Although it’s only Week 6, the 49ers certainly don’t want to fall two games behind the Seahawks and lose the opportunity to secure the tiebreaker, so expect head coach Kyle Shanahan to be creative with his offensive play calls. Creativity favors Samuel and the six-year receiver has had some of his most dominant games against the Seahawks over his career. Samuel has more than 100 receiving yards in five of seven career games against Seattle and Kaylor expects another big performance as the 49ers look to avoid back-to-back losses.
Kaylor is also targeting Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who had his first touchdown of the season last week and has 19 targets over his last two games. The second-year receiver has become a more significant piece of the Seattle offense this season, averaging eight targets per game compared to 5.5 targets per contest last season.
The Seahawks selected Smith-Njigba with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft as the first receiver off the board. That was largely due to his breakout sophomore season when he led the Big Ten in receptions (95) and receiving yards (1,606). A hamstring injury derailed his final college season but he’s shown his big-play ability at the NFL already. He has at least one catch of 15 yards or more in three of five games this season and given the 49ers are sure to focus much of their defensive attention on containing Metcalf, Smith-Njigba could be in line to be a significant value at his price for NFL DFS lineups. See who else Kaylor likes right here.
Kaylor is also targeting another undervalued player who could explode for huge numbers in Seahawks vs. 49ers. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is, and the rest of Kaylor’s NFL DFS picks, at SportsLine.
