Asta La Pasta made his chase debut last month coming third behind Booster Bob and Just Over Land.
Pic Roc is rated higher and makes his chase debut after some top performances last season over hurdles, albeit twice in second that bumped him up to this rating.
Coming a close second to Champagne Twist at Sandown in a Grade 3 contest, which was all the more impressive placing ahead of Emailandy.
Then despite carrying a penalty next time out, carrying 9lb more than Ike Sport still placed a decent second to that horse while fending off 15 other rivals.
Each run is taken on under jockey Ben Jones and Pic Roc looks the sort to go on over fences based on the way he took to hurdles leading from the front.

Went just a neck second to Okita Soushi at Royal Ascot in 2023 for instance and now goes hurdling.

He is given well over a stone in weight from the favourite Dargiannini who has been struggling of late but perhaps did need the run last month.
The favourite was with Paul Nicholls until December 2022 but now with Harry Derham has gone three for seven, with the odd poor run
He will face a tough task carrying top-weight and it’s worth going for a the in-form yard as he’s still very unexposed and likely for progression.
Tipped Sacre Coeur last time out as the grey won at 4/1 having shown real yet more ability over fences when placing behind La Renommee in October.
But she’s been upped 7lb for that victory now having won by 20 lengths, but the favourite did fall so couldn’t sustain the pressure on the mare.
Finest View is the favourite but has placed 2nd in each of her last four contests over hurdles and makes a switch to fences in a tough handicap where most rivals are exposed chasing.
But Ilovethenightlife went well in third on her chase debut and ought to improve in this field, having placed ahead of West Balboa and placed behind El Elefante despite carrying 3lb more.
Should progress in this sphere and is a nice price to score under Brendan Powell who has a strike rate of 20% in the last two weeks coming into this.
