In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, the onus was on Shami to take early wickets and the experienced speedster did not disappoint as he dismissed Soumya Sarkar for a duck followed by Mehidy Hasan Miraz later on to take his tally to 71 wickets in ICC white-ball tournaments.
