DURHAM, N.C. – Just days before the beginning of the 2025 spring season, the Duke men’s tennis team has earned the No. 12 ranking in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Preseason Coaches Poll sponsored by Tennis-Point, according to an announcement by the ITA on Monday. The Blue Devils ended the 2024 campaign at No. 14.

Duke is one of six Atlantic Coast Conference teams to be ranked among the ITA’s top 25, joining No. 4 Wake Forest, No. 5 Virginia, No. 9 Florida State, No. 17 Stanford and No. 22 NC State. The ACC trailed only the SEC (nine) for most top-25 teams.

The Blue Devils are in Tempe, Ariz., this week for a final tuneup before dual matches begin. Duke hosts Elon next Saturday, January 18, at 12 noon to kick off dual competition.
