Full-time: That’s it. Liverpool have destroyed Spurs tonight, two teams operating at different levels.
Another brilliant night for the Anfield faithful in what is continuing to be an immense season.
Off to Wembley for a meeting with Newcastle.
Liverpool are into the Carabao Cup final thanks to a 4-0 thrashing of Tottenham at Anfield, which secured them a 4-1 aggregate victory.
The Reds dominated the contest on Thursday night and were seemingly unfazed by losing the first leg in north London.
Cody Gakpo fired the home team ahead on 34 minutes and Mo Salah doubled the lead from the penalty spot after 51 minutes.
Dominik Szoboszlai made it three, completing a nice move before Virgil van Dijk nodded home a fourth .
Tottenham tried to be more pragmatic than they often are, sitting deep and trying to soak up the pressure but Liverpool found their way through all too easily and will meet Newcastle at Wembley.

90 mins: Three minutes of added time. Son fires in another shot, but it’s over.
86 mins: Virgil van Dijk gets to put his feet up, with Jarell Quansah replacing him.
82 mins: Harvey Elliott and Luis Diaz come on for Mo Salah and Cody Gakpo.
On comes Mikey Moore for Ben Davies on the Spurs side of things.
81 mins: Virgil van Dijk makes it four!
Liverpool are turning this into a romp as the captain goes largely unchallenged to nod in from a corner. Too easy for the big Dutchman.
78 mins: Son Heung-min has been very quiet tonight but he burst into life there and fired a shot against the crossbar from a tight angle on the left of the goal.
75 mins: Dominik Szoboszlai completes a lovely Liverpool move as Conor Bradley bursts forward and plays the Hungarian in on goal and he finishes confidently.
That feels like game over.
75 mins: Ryan Gravenberch has a pop from just outside the box and it flicks the bottom of the post.
72 mins: Liverpool changes as on come Alexis Mac Allister and Diogo Jota for Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones.
68 mins: Now in a more advanced role on the right, Djed Spence finds a small opening in the Liverpool box but fires a shot high and wide.
66 mins: It’s quite hard to see where a Spurs goal is coming from here as Liverpool continue to dominate possession and territory.
The visitors just need one to be level in the tie, though. While they have been distant second best so far, things remain in the balance.
63 mins: Gakpo is slid in on the left of the penalty area. He’s at a tight angle but unleashes a powerful effort which Kinsky touched onto the outside of the far post.
60 mins: It is a big change of set-up from Spurs. Spence is pushed forward ahead of Porro. Gray goes to left-back. Bergvall and Bentancur in the middle of midfield with Kulusevski in front.
57 mins: Lucas Bergvall and Pedro Porro come on for Pape Sarr and Yves Bissouma as Postecoglou rolls the dice.
54 mins: Tottenham have offered little in attack so far but now they must find a way to do so. Mathys Tel had his first slither of a chance, shooting from a tight angle, winning a corner, but it was easily defended.
51 mins: Mo Salah makes no mistake from the spot. An extremely confident left-footed effort is fired into the top corner. Immense penalty.
49 mins: Darwin Nunez played through on goal, pokes the ball past Kinsky who brings him down. An obvious penalty. Tottenham players complain, but that will get them nowhere.
47 mins: More concern for Tottenham immediately as Nunez finds Salah on the right of the area, he skips inside Spence but his shot is deflected wide.
Two corners follow, the second is nodded on by Szoboszlai and palmed away by Kinsky. Gakpo fires in another shot, which is saved.
It looks like service has been resumed from before the break.
Kick-off: The second half gets underway. Can Spurs turn things round?
Half-time: Liverpool finished the first half with 72.7 per cent possession.
The home side had 11 shots to Tottenham’s one.
