Her campaign has said she will address the election results on Wednesday.

Hillary Clinton also waited until the next day to concede the 2016 election.

Donald Trump has pulled off an astounding political comeback and regained the White House as he’s declared the winner of the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

He becomes the first president in over 130 years – and only the second in history – to win a non-consecutive second term.

His defeat of Vice President Kamala Harris marks a remarkable return for a twice-impeached president, who left office in 2021 on the back of claims that he had incited an assault on the U.S. Capitol building, and who was convicted earlier this year on multiple counts of business fraud.

Conceding the then-still-coming results were not what she ‘personally wanted’, Griffin said she was grateful to ‘live in a democracy’.

Senior Trump adviser Jason Miller appeared on Good Morning America on Wednesday and shared what’s next for the Trump team.

Miller said Trump is ‘doing great’ this morning after his electoral win.

‘He wants to heal the country. This is the time when we put aside political divisions.

‘We bring Democrats, Republicans, people awho aren’t involved in politics, together.’

Within an hour, the American University professor was calling it quits – putting a cap on a six-hour broadcast that saw his prediction for this year’s race fall flat.

CNN’s Jake Tapper was left stunned after preliminary analysis showed that Kamala Harris failed to convincingly outperform Joe Biden across any state.

The Vice President not only lost to Donald Trump, but appears to have unperformed across the board compared to Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

Analysis by CNN at around 2am (ET)  Wednesday revealed that Harris failed to out perform her boss by three percent in any state.

Trump was previously a crypto skeptic but changed his mind and embraced cryptocurrencies ahead of the election.

He pledged to make America ‘the crypto capital of the planet’ and create a ‘strategic reserve’ of bitcoin. His campaign accepted donations in cryptocurrency and he courted crypto fans at a bitcoin conference in July.

He also launched World Liberty Financial, a new venture with family members to trade cryptocurrencies.

Republican Tim Sheehy won the Montana Senate race ousting Democratic Senator Jon Tester, who was considered the most vulnerable Democrat in the Senate.

The GOP was able to successfully take control of the chamber after losing power four years ago.

Republican Jim Justice captured outgoing Independent Sen. Joe Manchin’s seat in West Virginia and GOP’s Bernie Moreno ousting Sherrod Brown in Ohio put Republicans on the path to power.

Those two flips, in addition to Sheehy’s victory, were enough to give the GOP the outright majority as several other race results are still incoming.

In the final weeks of the Senate race, a series of polls showed Sheehy taking a sizable lead ahead of Tester.

But there were questions over whether Tester’s deep ties in the state and reputation as a lawmaker who can work across the aisle could help carry him to victory in an election year where Donald Trump was ensured to carry the top of the ticket.

Donald Trump made his victory speech at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, before the election was called but when the result was likely.

His running mate JD Vance, campaign manager Chris LaCivita, and UFC chief executive Dana White also spoke briefly between his remarks.

‘For a long time, Germany and the US have been working together successfully promoting prosperity and freedom on both sides of the Atlantic. We will continue to do so for the wellbeing of our citizens,’ German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in a post on the social platform X.

Meanwhile, Czech Republic’s President Petr Pavel said he valued the country’s ‘partnership with the United States’ and was looking forward to ‘continued cooperation in addressing shared global challenges, including supporting our common allies and upholding European security.’

Pavel said: ‘Our Transatlantic bond remains strong.’

Donald Trump’s likely confirmation as the next president of the U.S could come when the next result is called in one of five outstanding states.

Voting has been described as too close to call in the four battleground states of Arizona, Michigan, Nevada and Wisconsin.

Meanwhile, the three Electoral College votes belonging to Alaska are yet to be given to Trump or Harris with the Republican favourite to win the state.

The remaining states to be called:

• Alaska
• Arizona
• Michigan
• Nevada
• Wisconsin

Wisconsin is one of the states that had still not been called by the Associated Press by 5am.

An issue with 30,000 absentee ballots meant they had to be reuploaded in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

If Trump wins a substantial number of these ballots, it could carry him to victory.

Donald Trump is back. But make no mistake: this was Joe Biden’s defeat.

Barrett beat Democrat Curtis Hertel Jr. in the race.

Slotkin is trying to win the state’s open Senate seat, but is being given a run for her money by Republican Mike Rogers.

Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election provoked an anguished reaction from the left liberal news media and Kamala Harris supporters.

MSNBC commentator Joy Reid launched a tirade live on air as Florida turned out overwhelmingly in favour of Trump, slamming voters and describing the state as being under the power of an ‘extremist, right-wing, fascist-type government’.

‘Think about the last two weeks and the things that Donald Trump has said into the TV that people could hear him say and do,’ she said, becoming increasingly more irate.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has added his name to the list of world leaders who have congratulated Donald Trump following the presidential election results.

In a tweet on X, Modi said:

This is the moment voters in Montana erupted with joy when Fox declared Donald Trump had won the presidency.

Tim Sheehy, a former Navy SEAL running for a Senate seat in Montana, shared footage of the moment the Fox News projection was announced.

Sheehy is currently in a race with Democratic incumbent Jon Tester for a seat on the Senate.

Kamala Harris’s performance with Latino voters was the worst by a Democrat since exit polling began in 1972.

She won 53 percent to Trump’s 45 percent, the 2024 exit poll showed.

Trump was up 13 percent up from four years ago.

Harris also fared badly with Asian voters.

She won 56 percent among the group but it was the worst performance by a Democrat since 2004.

Kamala Harris’ election night flop appears to have affected her even in deep blue districts, including New York City.

Harris has won just 67.8 percent of the vote in the Big Apple’s five boroughs. While that may seem like a dominating performance, it’s the worst for a Democrat since 1988.

Joe Biden won the city with 76 percent of the vote in 2020 and Hillary Clinton – who served the New York State in the Senate – won it with 79 percent in 2016.

Harris’ disappointing numbers in NYC were the worst since Michael Dukakis garnered 66.17% of the vote versus George H.W. Bush’s 32.82 percent.

Donald Trump, meanwhile, has seen his vote grow from 18 percent in 2016 to a high watermark of 30 percent in 2024 and Harris is only winning the state by 12 points, versus 23 points for Biden.

If Donald Trump wins in Alaska, he will take a declarative victory.

The Assocaited Press has Trump with 267 Electoral College votes – even though Fox News has already called the race for the former president – claiming Wisconsin is too close to call as votes continue to be tabulated in some key counties.

But if the Alaska results come in its three votes go to Trump, he won’t need any other states called to win the 2024 presidential election.

CNN’s election data guru John King declared: ‘It’s a shellacking.’

The phrase was used by Barack Obama to describe Democrat defeat in midterm elections in 2010, during his first term.

Now, I’m not recommending for every future president that they take a shellacking like I did last night.

Political commentator Van Jones became emotional speaking on CNN as the race slipped away from Kamala Harris and Donald Trump appeared to lock in a victory.

‘I’m thinking about the people who are not a part of anybody’s elite, who are hurting tonight,’ he said.

‘There are African-American women who know a little bit about being talked down to, they know a little bit about having their economic dreams crushed, who tried to dream a big dream over the past couple of months, and tonight they are trading in a lot of hope for a lot of hurt, and they were hoping that maybe this time, this time, one of their own could be seen as worthy, and once again, they are facing rejection, and that hurts,’ he said.

‘They thought tomorrow morning they were gonna walk out with their shoulders back a little bit, maybe be able to breathe for the first time, and feel like they belong someplace,’ he added.

He also said for the parents of trans kids, their children’s face was ‘used as a springboard to power for somebody. That doesn’t feel good.’

‘Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason: And that reason was to save our country and to restore America to greatness. And now we are going to fulfil that mission together,’ Trump said.

He has also spoken about divine intervention at his rallies.

British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has congratulated Donald Trump on his ‘historic election victory’ and said that ‘as the closest of allies, we stand shoulder to shoulder in defence of our shared values of freedom, democracy and enterprise’.

Starmer’s message comes after Benjamin Netanyahu and Emmanuel Macron offered their well wishes in social media posts.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated former President Donald Trump for his election victory early Wednesday morning.

Zelensky reminded Trump of their meeting in September and their discussion on ‘ways to put an end to Russian aggression against Ukraine.’

‘I appreciate President Trump’s commitment to the “peace through strength” approach in global affairs. This is exactly the principle that can practically bring just peace in Ukraine closer. I am hopeful that we will put it into action together,’ Zelensky wrote.

During his campaign, Trump boasted that he would end the war in Ukraine before inauguration day. His Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, argued that likely meant Russian appeasement.

‘I am looking forward to personally congratulating President Trump and discussing ways to strengthen Ukraine’s strategic partnership with the United States,’ Zelensky also said.

Zelensky was a key character in Trump’s first impeachment in December 2019 – after the then-president held up Congressionally-approved military aid to the country to pressure Zelensky to announce an investigation into President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, who had business dealings in the country.

The Associated Press has not officially called the race for Donald Trump saying:

The races are too early to call.

Fox News has called Wisconsin for the ex-president, which puts him over the necessary 270 Electoral College votes to win.

Kamala Harris has won the state of Minnesota.

The result hands Harris 10 Electoral College votes.

Trump used his victory speech shortly after Fox News projected he would be the 47thpresident to salute golf champ Bryson DeDhambeau and UFC boss Dana White.

Trump congratulated DeChambeau, who plays for the Saudi-backed LIV League, on his win in the 2024 US Open.

Then Trump called up White, a longtime friend who he huddled with at Mar-a-Lago as the returns came in.

The Associated Press, often thought as the declarative authority on election results, has not called the 2024 presidential race.

Fox News has called the victory for Donald Trump and with 267 Electoral College votes called by the AP for the Republican candidate, he will win a second term even if he just clinches Alaska and no other states.

Despite the AP remaining up in the air on its results, the former president went on stage in West Palm Beach, Florida in the early hours of Wednesday morning to declare victory.

The AP said it hadn’t called the race yet because it is ‘awaiting late vote updates from Michigan’s Wayne County and Wisconsin’s Milwaukee County, two Democratic strongholds that present Harris’ only path to win either state.’

French President Emmanuel Macron was one of the first European leaders out of the gate to congratulate President-elect Donald Trump for his victory in the 2024 election.

‘Congratulations President Donald Trump,’ Macron wrote on social media. ‘Ready to work together as we did for four years. With your convictions and mine. With respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity.’

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has congratulated Donald Trump on pulling off what he described as ‘history’s greatest comeback’.

Although the election result is yet to be officially declared, Trump’s wins in three battleground states have made it too difficult for Kamala Harris to catch him.

Netanyahu said Trump’s return to the White House signalled a ‘new beginning for America’.

Top Democrat Eric Swalwell won his reelection bid.

The lawmaker has been embroiled in drama in the Capitol.

He was accused of ‘aiding and abetting’ Hunter Biden in defying a congressional subpoena last year.

And he had ties to a suspected Chinese spy named Fang Fang.

But his constituents didn’t seem to mind as they bolstered him to victory.

President-elect Donald Trump reflected on the fact that he would never do another campaign rally again.

‘I’m never doing a rally again, can you beleive it?’ he asked his supporters at his victory party in Palm Beach, Florida.

He reflected that he must have done at over 900 campaign rallies since he first entered politics in 2015.

‘Now we’re going onto something that’s far more important because the rallies were used to put us into this posiiton where we can really help our country.

‘Bobby, leave the oil to me,’ Trump jested.

This is the moment Donald Trump vowed to usher in a ‘golden age’ for America as he declared victory in the presidential election.

He also told supporters: ‘This is a magnificent victory for the American people, that will allow us to make America great again.’

During his remarks early Wednesday morning at the Palm Beach Convention Center, former President Donald Trump made a bold statement about his victory.

This will forever be remembered as the day the American people regained control of their country.

The race has yet to be called by the AP, but there’s practically no way Vice President Kamala Harris can get the needed 270 Electoral College votes to win the White House.

‘It was amazing to look at all of those victories. Nobody expected that. Nobody,’ Trump said about Republican victories across the country, citing Senate wins giving Republicans a majority in the Senate.

‘You have some great senators and some great new senators,’ he said. ‘And it also looks like we’ll be keeping control of the House of Representatives.’

The final results of the Congressional races are not conclusive, but House Speaker Mike Johnson flew to Palm Beach, Florida to celebrate with the president on Tuesday.

‘I want to thank Mike Johnson. I think he’s doing a terrific job,’ Trump added.

Wiles and Chris LaCivita have been credited with keeping Trump’s 2024 campaign largely drama-free.

Trump offered Wiles the microphone but she turned down the invitation, having LaCivita make brief remarks instead.

Both campaign managers will likely head to Washington for a forthcoming Trump 2.0 administration.

Vance briefly took centre stage to describe Trump’s victory as the greatest political comeback in history.

The blame game in the Kamala Harris campaign has reportedly already begun.

Fox News reported that Harris-Walz surrogate Lindi Li said Tim Walz was a bad choice of running mate and it should have been Governor Josh Shapiro.

She also claimed that Harris’ positions were not clearly staked out and talking about facism wasn’t working.

‘It’s much easier doing what the networks did – or whoever called it – because there was no other path. There was no other path to victory,’ Trump said of his declarative win in the 2024 presidential election.

He added: ‘We also have won the popular vote.’

Donald Trump has told his supporters ‘we’re going to help our country heal’ as he claimed an election victory in Florida.

In his opening remarks he vowed to fix the borders following what he described as a ‘political victory’.

Donald Trump has won the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a critical battleground state and one of the biggest prizes in the race for the White House.

The call by the Associated Press comes shortly after Trump captured the swing states of North Carolina and Georgia, crushing Kamala Harris’ momentum and setting himself up well to capture the necessary 270 votes to win.

Fox News made the call at 1:48am, sending the place into a frenzy. ‘We did it,’ screamed one young man. Fists and phones were raised in the air, spoiled only by one over-refreshed young man vomiting on the floor.

Republican Senate candidate David McCormick came out to speak to supporters as the race remains too close to call but he has a slight edge as the final votes are being counted.

‘It looks like we’re headed in a very good direction,’ McCormick said to cheers.

Donald Trump is leading Kamala Harris by 4 percentage points in battleground Wisconsin, by improving on his 2020 performance in counties all over the state.

Harris is running up big margins in Dane County, which includes Madison, and Milwaukee. Yet even though she had a massive 51 percent lead in Dane, Trump was doing 1 percent better than four years ago.

In La Crosse, another county Harris won, Trump was running 4 points ahead of his prior performance.

In more than 20 counties that he was carrying with most of their vote in, Trump had improved on his 2020 performance.

In Michigan, Trump had gained on his prior performance in almost every county reporting, across the state’s Upper and Lower Pensinsula.

‘When you take a look at the other counties that are out there, we’re doing well,’ state party chair Pete Hoekstra told DailyMail.com. ‘The areas where the Democrats really outperformed in ‘22 and maybe in ’20, they’re not seeing the same numbers this time.

Trump was leading Harris 52-46 in Michigan with about 62 percent of the vote in. But Wayne County, which includes Detroit, had only about 25 percent of its vote in, providing Harris a chance as the big batches of votes come in.

With 95 percent of precincts reporting, Trump was leading Kamala Harris 51 to 48, with a lead of more than 100,000 votes.

Vote-rich Fulton County, a Harris stronghold, already had 95 percent of its vote in.

‘Wow that Iowa poll was really accurate!’ Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) sarcastically wrote on X after the state was called for Trump.

Nigel Farage, leader of Britain’s Reform Party and long time friend of Trump, is at the party told DailyMail.com that the mood had gone from cautious optimism to confident optimism.

The man has just got the resilience of an ox. I think, you know, within a couple of hours, I suspect we’re going to see that he’s done it, the greatest political comeback in modern history, maybe of all time, given what he had against it in the last few years.

He did it, said Farage, by building a leadership coaltion and a voter coaltion.

It’s not just about him. Kennedy now coming in, taking quite a role. Musk, obviously, playing a very big role. It isn’t just Trump anymore. And now there’s a coalition of Latinos, blacks, more Jews than ever voted before. More young men than ever voted before. The race for Senate in the Lone Star State was uncomfortably close for Republicans who have had a hold on the state for decades.

Recent polls had put the two political foes within a single point of one another, with Allred taking the lead just a few weeks ago.

When it comes, the first big call feels like a moment of catharsis as much as celebration. The small calls, the red state certainties, have got the crowd warmed up.

One glamorous group of women, all pearls and brooches, moves from their position in chairs along the wall to the center of the hall.

These are the volunteers from North Carolina who travel the country checking in VIPs and press and making sure the events stay on the rails. This result is extra special for them.

Brown’s defeat helped propel Republicans to a new Senate majority.

The vice-president’s victory has given her eight Electoral College votes.

Donald Trump has won the critical swing state of North Carolina and its 16 electoral votes in a pivotal moment in the election.

The Tar Heel state was a key target of both campaigns and was the site of multiple rallies in the final days of the race.

The Democrats haven’t claimed victory in North Carolina since Barack Obama in 2008.

Trump won in the last two elections and the victory is a boost for the Republican nominee who said he was confident when voting with wife Melania earlier on Tuesday.

More than 4.2 million North Carolinians voted before election day, breaking the record turnout in 2020.

Several potentially telling signs are emerging in the early election results – and they’re mostly positive for former President Donald Trump.

First, Iowa has been called for Trump throwing cold water on a shock Des Moines Register poll that was released on Saturday night.

The survey, conducted by respected pollster Ann Selzer, showed Kamala Harris leading Trump by 3 percentage points, propelled by overwhelming support from women and, especially, women over the age of 65.

That would have been a stunning result in a reliably Republican state and Selzer’s findings were seen as potential evidence of a surge of enthusiasm for the vice president. But that has not materialized.

It appears Trump will carry the Hawkeye State by more than 10 points.

In October, the DailyMail.com national poll noted a significant gender gap, but Harris’s 14-point lead among women was overwhelmed by Trump’s 22-point lead among men.

So, no Iowa surprise. However, there is an election stunner tonight out of Florida.

While Trump was expected to win the Sunshine State convincingly, he unexpectedly defeated Harris in counties once seen as Democratic strongholds.

With 95% of the vote counted, Miami-Dade County voted 55.4 percent for Trump and 43.8 percent for Harris. In 2016 and 2020 that county went for Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, respectively.

Even though the county also supported Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the 2022 midterms, the result shows Trump’s strength among a broad spectrum of voters.Miami-Dade is a majority Hispanic district and the vote there may be indicative of a larger movement of Hispanics toward the former president. According to Exit Polls, the Hispanic vote for Trump in the battleground states of Pennsylvania and Michigan are also historically strong.

The Mail’s final poll also detected this non-white vote breaking towards Trump.

Donald Trump is now favored to win the popular vote, according to the New York Times ‘needle’ feature.

Shortly after 11 pm, he was favored to win it by 1.1 percent.

The Electoral College determines the winner, which is why the campaigns are acutely focused on Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

But a popular vote win would give Trump bragging rights. When he took the White House in 2016, Hillary Clinton beat him by almost 3 million votes.

The crowd at the Trump watch party isn’t taking anything for granted. 39-year-old entrepreneur Rosie was just describing the mood as ‘nervously excited’ when the Iowa result came in with a fanfare for Trump.

Cheers echoed through the hall. The result was all the sweeter for a weekend poll by respected pollster Ann Selzer, who reported that Harris had a three-point lead.

‘F*** Ann Selzer,’ was the emotional response of one Trump staffer.

Things are moving Trump’s way fast, and the appearance of national spokesperson Karoline Leavitt and other aides suggests he may not be too far away.

And it may be far worse than that.

The blue wall is clearly imperiled, with rumors that the race could be called for Trump well before morning.

Kamala Harris has also won the state of Washington.

There were cheers inside the Michigan state Republican Party watch party as Donald Trump ticked by Kamala Harris in the state’s vote count.

Former Rep. Pete Hoekstra, the state Party chair, had flagged the upcoming change, as votes were coming in from Monroe County and other GOP strongholds. ‘We’ve seen Trump pull ahead in Pennsylvania, we have seen him pull ahead in Wisconsin and soon, you will see the numbers scroll across the screen in Michigan,’ he said.

But almost all of Wayne County, which includes Detroit, was still outstanding with juts a tiny fraction of the vote in.

‘We know Detroit has votes to still turn in – boo is right,’ he said as crowd members booed his mention of the Motor City.

He said hopefully there would be a result tonight in the presidential vote by the state. ‘We will not have created a crack in the wall. We will have obliterated the wall,’ he predicted.

CNN anchor Abby Phillip reported just before 11 pm from the Kamala Harris headquarters at Howard University on Tuesday night.

‘I think the operative word is silence,’ Phillip reported. ‘There’s not a lot being said, because the Harris team appears to be searching for bright spots in the map, as these results very very, very slowly come in.’

Phillip said that early on in the evening they got a lot of positive spin from Harris team sources, but said that they would be looking into the numbers.

There were still a number of large population centers in some of the ‘blue wall’ states like Wisconsin, Georgia, and Pennsylvania that had yet to come in.

‘There’s been a slowdown in that spin, because they really are digging into these numbers as they are coming in and trying to understand what’s left out there for them, especially in these big urban centers,’ she said.

Phillip later reported that Kamala campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon sent a memo to staff that said their path is the blue wall and that with the margins so small and so slow to come in ‘we’ll see you tomorrow.’

Polls have now closed in the West Coast states of California and Oregon as well as Washington and Idaho.

If pro-life activists were supposed to stand down this election and hand Kamala Harris a win on ‘reproductive freedom’, they certainly didn’t get the memo in Florida.

Amendment 4 was supposed to codify the right to abortion up until fetal viability (as opposed to the controversial 6-week threshold in the current Florida law), but it needed 60 percent of the vote to amend the state’s constitution

.The amendment, however, nabbed only 57 percent when voters hit the polls today, making it the first pro-abortion ballot measure to tank since Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022.

The divisive issue was supposed to move the needle in only one direction, as women were expected – and directed – to lift Kamala to the White House on this single issue.

The measure’s failure will no doubt have national ramifications, if for no other reason than it’s a clear signal pro-lifers themselves revived the issue.

It’s another victory for Donald Trump and this time it’s Iowa.

It means Trump has picked up six electoral votes and has now passed 200 as he heads toward the 270 finish line.

The AP called the race for Trump as he took a 14-point lead over Harris.

J. Ann Selzer, known as the ‘Iowa polling queen,’ issued a shock poll on Saturday showing Trump trailing behind Harris in the red state by three points.

Trump won Iowa in 2020 by 8.2 points, so his showing is even better this election.

The first results are starting to come in from Maricopa County, the largest county in Arizona.

The results show Kamala Harris with a slight edge over Donald Trump, but it is still early in the night.

Kamala Harris’ campaign is sounding a positive note about Georgia.

In Georgia — the first swing state to close its polls — Donald Trump has improved on his numbers from four years ago in dozens of small, rural, very red counties. He is trying to win back the state after losing it to Joe Biden in the 2020 contest.

Harris appears to have improved on Biden’s performance in suburban and exurban counties around Atlanta.

‘Big batch of votes were just counted in GWINNETT County, Georgia, outside Atlanta Shaved the statewide margin by 2 points Votes are being counted!,’ wrote Haris campaign spokesman Ian Sams.

The state remains too close to call.

Liberals have bemoaned the New York Times’ election needle, which has predicted a win for Donald Trump over Kamala Harris.

The needle is meant to predict what will happen in elections based on the partial results available as they arrive on election night.

‘Our election night forecast shows an extremely close race. Almost all of the vote counted so far points toward a very close election, as anticipated,’ wrote the paper’s chief political analyst, Nate Cohn, earlier Tuesday.

However, the paper’s Democrat-leaning readership began to bemoan the numbers as it showed Trump as likely to take North Carolina, Georgia and the election.

‘Anyone got a timelapse of the NYT needle from the last election? Because looking at it in its current state has me NERVOUS AS F***,’ wrote one social media user.

Kamala Harris has won the District of Columbia to pick up three electoral votes.

Donald Trump’s chances of victory on the betting site Polymarket are now at 92 percent.

It gives Kamala Harris a less than 10 percent chance of reaching the White House.

On the political betting sire Kalshi, Trump has an 85 percent chance, and Harris 15 percent.

The figures are similar on the political forecasting site Predictit.

He is on course for a role in the Trump administration, if results go the right way tonight.

Trump has promised to make him chief of a new ‘government efficiency commission’ to seek out cuts at federal agencies and changes to federal rules.

‘He’s going to just get rid of people who are not working, or don’t have a job, or not doing a job well, just like he did on Twitter,’ his mother Maye Musk told Fox News recently. ‘He can do it for the government, too.’

Kamala Harris has won the state of Colorado.

It means the vice-president has picked up 10 electoral votes.

The New York Times’ live presidential election needle is showing former President Donald Trump with a 75 percent chance of victory a little after 10 p.m. ET.

None of the seven battleground states have been called for either candidate but numbers Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina are looking good for the former president.

As the 11 p.m. ET hour neared – the needle neared a 90 percent chance of a Trump victory.

When I spoke with President Trump today, I heard the same hopeful, never-haughty, candidate that’s typically the last to think he will win. 

Smitten by 2016, bitten by 2020, he has relied upon rallies, his record, and new tools like podcasts to make his case.

He knows he has done his part by showing up and speaking up in towns and cities across this nation.

He trusts the voters to do the same for him. Concerns over weakness and wokeness, immigration and inflation, all favor the ex-president.

People want change and Kamala represents more of the same. Trump is expanding geographically (gaining in rural counties compared to 2020) and demographically (up among black men in Georgia).

Let’s see if holding his own in suburban, bellwether counties in the Sun Belt –where Harris must run up the margins – happens in the Rust Belt, where this election will be decided.

Sarah McBride has won Delaware’s at-large House seat, AP declared.

The Democrat’s victory makes her the first openly transgender member-elect of Congress.

She was widely expected to win the seat and replace U.S. Senate-elect Lisa Blunt Rochester.

McBride beat her Republican opponent John Whalen III with 57.6% of the vote with 63% of the vote counted so far.

Donald Trump has also won the state of Utah.

It means he has added another six votes as he heads towards the magic number of 270.

Donald Trump has won Montana.

It means the former president has picked up another four electoral votes.

Democratic strategist James Carville expressed early concern about the early voting results coming in for Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Loudoun County, Virginia’s not great,” Carville said, referring to a Washington, DC area suburb that typically votes for Democrats in wide margins.

He noted that Biden had won the county with 62 percent support in 2020 and that Harris was only getting 57-58 percent.

‘There are troubling signs out there,’ he said.

‘Talking about a 50,000-100,000 increase in Democratic votes in Philadelphia,’ Carville added. ‘So that should absolve something. That should absolve a lot.’

Carville said states like North Carolina and Georgia needed more results to make a conclusion, but he indicated he was not impressed.

‘I would be less than honest if I didn’t say the early indications here are not sterling,’ he said.

Donald Trump is with family, friends, aides, and club members at his home in Mar-a-Lago tonight.

He may or may not speak at the convention center across the water in West Palm Beach, probably depending on whether results are going his way.

In the meantime, guests have posted video of him going up the stairs to cheers. His children Eric, Don Jr, and Tiffany can all be seen.

Polls have now closed in Nevada, the final battleground state in the 2024 presidential election.

Voting has now also stopped in four other states: Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Utah.

Donald Trump wins the state of Missouri and its 10 electoral votes.

Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan tried to make a comeback in Maryland politics after competing his second consecutive gubernatorial term last year.

But Hogan was bested by Democrat Angela Alsobrooks, who in 2018 was elected the first black female Executive of Prince George’s County in Maryland.

Alsobrooks was well over 54 percent when the race was called by the Associated Press on Tuesday evening.

The race commenced when Democratic Sen. Ben Cardin, 81, announced in May of last year that he would retire after three terms in the upper chamber.

Donald Trump is getting about a 20 percent support among black voters, according to an NBC exit poll.

That is more than double the 8 percent he got in 2020. He has been making a major play for minority support, encouraged by pre-election polls.

He is also seeing gains among Latino men. They backed Harris 54-44 in key states. Back in 2020, they supported Joe Biden over Trump by a much larger 23-point margin, 59 to 35.

During his campaign he repeatedly spoke about illegal migrants taking what he termed ‘black jobs’ and hispanic jobs.

Most counties around liberal-leaning Atlanta have above 70% of their results reported.

However, the areas surrounding Savannah which also tend to be more blue than the state have not reported many votes yet.

The state’s critical 16 electoral votes are seen as necessary in most scenarios for either candidate to secure a victory.

This afternoon Team Harris was upbeat, Team Trump somewhat gloomy.

One senior Trump strategist even moaned to me that Kamala Harris was probably hitting the champagne already.

But the early results have started better than even the Trump campaign anticipated.
Take Florida. It used to be a swing state but is now reliably Republican. Trump won it by three points in 2020. But this year he looks like winning by 13 points. Trump has even flipped Miami-Dade County which Biden won by seven points.

That’s all bad news for Kamala Harris in the swing states.

Georgia is still too close to call but Trump looks like edging it. The CNN exit poll showed a dramatic shift to Trump among independents and doing much better among black men than 2020, which look like propelling him to victory in the Peach State.

Of course, Trump has to win Georgia to remain a contender whereas Harris can lose it and still win. She’s still very much in contention in Pennsylvania but it looks like she’ll also have to take Wisconsin and Michigan to be president. If Trump takes Pennsylvania he’s back in the White House.

Michigan Senate candidate Mike Rogers is predicting the results of his race won’t be known until tomorrow.

‘I do believe this is going to be a nail-biter,’ he told a few hundred supporters at a state Republican Party watch party in Novi, a Detroit suburb – in the same venue where he joined a Donald Trump rally days ago.

‘This is going to be a very long night,’ he predicted. ‘Don’t pay attention to the precincts in and the precincts out. That thing’s going to bounce around all night long,’ he urged supporters. He thanked them for backing him in a race that ‘became the most competitive US Senate seat in the country within the last few weeks.

Partygoers were enjoying finger food and beverages with Fox News on two large TV screens, but it could be a while before they know what happens.

‘As my folks are telling me, we are likely to not even to know the results tonight,’ he said, despite Michigan’s new rules allowing early ballots to be processed days in advance. His Democratic opponent Elissa Slotkin was leading with 10 percent of the vote in.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has won reelection in her New York City district, according to projections, preserving her position as a ‘squad leader’ of Democrat socialist members of Congress.

Other members of the so-called congressional Squad suffered losses in their primary races including Democratic Reps. Cori Bush in Missouri and Jamaal Bowman in New York.

The Associated Press declared Ocasio-Cortez the winner at 9:04 p.m. EST.

He called Sen.-elect Lisa Blunt Rochester from his home state of Delaware.

Biden also called Delaware’s Gov.-elect Matt Meyer and Wilmington’s new mayor, former Gov. John Carney.

The 81-year-old also talked to New Jersey’s incoming Democratic governor, Rep. Andy Kim and North Carolina’s incoming Democratic governor, Attorney General Josh Stein.

Results are coming thick and fast in the race for the White House.

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have secured victories in multiple states but the outcomes in crucial swing states have yet to be determined.

Hundreds of thousands of votes also have yet to be counted in Pittsburgh, which favors Harris.

The poll released by The Telegraph shows that the Republican has made up major ground with these voters.

Overall, 53% of Latinos responded they would back Harris while 45% are for Trump.

The populous county saw a massive 18 percentage point shift to the Republican from 2020.

In 2016 Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton won Miami-Dade by 30 points.

Trump is the first Republican to win the county since George H.W. Bush in 1988.

Donald Trump has also won the state of Ohio to pick up 17 electoral votes.

The Lone Star State has 40 Electoral College votes, the most of any red state.

Donald Trump holds a 50-49 lead in Virginia with half the vote counted in one of the closest US presidential races in history.

Trump has spoken about his ability to win the state, and held a campaign rally in Salem, Virginia a few days ago.

But some of the vote from the state’s most populous counties in suburban Washington D.C. has yet to come in, with Fairfax County only having counted about 60 percent of the vote.

Biden won the state with 54 percent of the vote four years ago.

Vice President Kamala Harris is projected to win New York as expected.

The state has 28 electoral votes.

Donald Trump has also won the state of Wyoming to pick up an additional three votes.

Donald Trump has won Louisiana picking up eight electoral votes.

However, for voters already in line at 7pm, they can still cast ballots.

The earlier results in the state are not expected for another hour as some polling locations start the process of gathering results to be counted.

Stations have also shut in Colorado, Iowa, Kanas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming.

Former President Donald Trump just took his first lead in North Carolina, edging ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris, who had been slightly up in the crucial batleground state since polls closed.

With just over 21 percent of the votes tallied at 8:45 pm ET, Trump held a 644,831 (52.2%) vote lead to Harris’ 575,712 (46.6%).

With Georgia looking solidly red so far tonight, that makes North Carolina all the more crucial to any path to victory for Harris.

If she loses both, Harris would need to win Pennsylvania.

North Carolina’s Republican Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson failed his bid to become governor after a series of scandals plagued his campaign.

Democrat Josh Stein won in a landslide when the race was called on Tuesday night by ABC News at 58 percent to 38 percent.

Robinson was unable to recover after the latest scandal revealed that he shared several controversial comments on a pornographic forum called Nude Africa – including calling himself a ‘black Nazi’ and a ‘perv.’

CNN commentator Van Jones said the Puerto Rican vote was ‘lit on fire’ in Pennsylvania, citing the media firestorm in reaction to a joke from comedian Tony Hinchcliffe about Puerto Rico.

During Trump’s rally in New York City at Madison Square Garden, Hinchcliffe described Puerto Rico as a ‘floating island of garbage.’

Democrats capitalized on the joke, as Latino celebrities denounced the event using it to motivate Puerto Rico voters to the polls.

‘There is an energy. There is a surge,’ Jones said on the CNN’s election panel on Tuesday night. ‘The Puerto Rican vote by itself has been lit on fire.’

Jones cited a flood of donations to the Puerto Rican political action committee La Brega y Fuerza as evidence of his claim, noting that the donations surged like ‘wildfire’ after the joke.

A voting site in the key swing state of Pennsylvania has been evacuated after being stormed by ‘disruptors’.

Multiple people burst into the Centre County election office in Bellefonte shortly after 7pm ET Tuesday.

That triggered an evacuation by local police, according to the Centre County Report.

Polls closed in Pennsylvania at 8pm ET.

A judge in DeKalb County has ordered polling locations to stay open later than usual.

The order comes after bomb threats came into multiple polling locations across the Atlanta area, leading to some areas being shut down as authorities swept for threats.

That meant that a judge had to order the polling locations to stay open later.

Now some locations will close well over an hour after polls were meant to close.

The race between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris is razor-thin in Virginia – what some pundits are calling a ‘real battleground’ state.

The Democrat vote has reportedly ‘collapsed’ in Loudon County, a traditionally liberal area of the commonwealth.

It’s a state that went for Biden by over 10 points in 2020.

With around 30 percent of votes in, Harris is leading Trump by only three points.

Donald Trump is projected to win the state of Oklahoma and its seven electoral college votes.

Donald Trump is projected to win the state of Tennessee and its 11 electoral votes.

Vice President Kamala Harris is the projected winner of Rhode Island, a blue state.

That means she picks up four more electoral votes.

Donald Trump has won the state of Alabama and its nine electoral votes.

It’s the third consecutive time he has carried the state.

Democrats haven’t won it since 1976, with southerner Jimmy Carter as the party nominee. The AP called the race at 8 pm.

There was never any doubt Trump would carry the deep red state. He got himself in front of plenty of state football fans when he attended the Georgia-Alabama football came in September.

The Associated Press called the race just after 8:00 p.m. with Trump ahead by 11.5 percent with 80 percent of the vote reported.

Vice President Kamala Harris easily won the blue state of Maryland.

The state is also hosting an important Senate race between Maryland’s former Gov. Larry Hogan and Democrat Angela Alsobrooks. That race wasn’t immediately called.

Donald Trump has won the state of Misssissippi and its six electoral votes.

CNN anchor Jake Tapper appeared stunned after hearing early election results in Georgia are favoring Donald Trump.

After CNN Political Director David Chalian reported to Tapper that independents in Georgia favored Trump by 54 percent to 43 percent, the anchor was shocked.

Four years ago the exit poll showed Joe Biden leading Trump by nine points among independents. Now, preliminary results show Trump up 11 points with independents in the Peach State.

That represents a 20-point swing to Trump this time.

The Associated Press has called Connecticut and its seven electoral votes for Kamala Harris.

The 27-year-old is the first Gen Z member of Congress. He was first elected in 2022 and has now won his first reelection.

Frost’s district includes Orlando, Florida.

MAGA bombshell Anna Paulina Luna has soared to election victory, retaining her seat in Florida‘s 13th District.

Luna, who sparked fury among Democrats by posing in a MAGA swimsuit earlier this year, was declared the winner of a tight race shortly before 8pm ET on Tuesday.

She wasted no time in celebrating, immediately taking to X to share the news.

A lot of the optimism at the Trump convention center watch party is centered on paths to the White House. Never mind the numbers today, supporters and Trump advisers alike, all believe the Trump campaign has the easiest route to the White House.

This is how senior Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski put it:

We have 100 paths. I love the easy path. The easiest path is Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania. You wanna give my home state New Hampshire … I love that. You want to give me Nevada … I’m happy. Our path is three states. She has to win them all.

On the Polymarket betting site, his odds hit an all-time high with a 72 percent chance of winning.

On the forecasting site Predictit there was also a sudden surge of backing for Trump.

The site gave Trump a 64 percent chance and Harris 39 percent. Earlier in the day they had been virtually tied.

The Associated Press has called West Virginia for Donald Trump.

Republican Jim Justice has won West Virginia’s Senate seat after former Democrat-turned-Independent Joe Manchin decided to not run for reelection.

The Associated Press made the call not long after polls closed in the state.

It’s the first Senate seat that has flipped to the GOP as they try and take back control of the upper chamber of Congress.

Republicans just need to flip one more Democratic seat red to gain an outright majority.

Kamala Harris’ campaign has brought in the star power to help keep voters in line in battleground states.

The campaign mobolized celebrities to encourage young voters to wait it out in lines that stretched out for hours.

Paul Rudd visited with students in line in Pennsylvania and handed out bottles of water.

Other celebrities used FaceTime to talk to young voters waiting to cast their ballot.

In Pennsylvania, Jennifer Garner called into Villanova and Josh Gad did to Lehigh.

Mark Cuban facetimed voters at the University of North Caroline Charlotte, and Demi Lovato in Nevada at UNLV.

Donald Trump is making last minute calls into radio stations in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to encourage voters to keep turning out.

It’s a last-ditch effort from the former president to get voters in the key swing states to cast their ballots for him in the 2024 presidential election.

Polls close at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time in Pennsylvania and an hour later at 8:00 p.m. Central Time in Wisconsin.

Results have started filtering in from some states where polls closed at 7:00 p.m. EST.

Independents in Georgia favored Trump by 54 percent to 43 percent, CNN reported.

Four years ago the exit poll showed Joe Biden leading Trump by nine points among independents.

That represented a 20-point swing to Trump this time.

The first batch of Georgia votes shocked CNN host Jake Tapper who was taken aback by the initial results.

‘Some headwinds for Harrris in these exit polls,’ he continues.

Still, less than four percent of the vote is in.

Just about 40% of Georgia voters said the economy is their top issue in this election.

Less than 30% said that the state of democracy is their number one priority, a CNN exit poll found.

Additionally, 14% said abortion was their top issue and 10% said immigration.

Nationally the CNN exit polling analysis found the top issue among voters was the state of democracy.

Trump swept all 11 of Indiana’s electoral votes after the polls closed in the red state.

The former president won 61.1% of the vote.

Donald Trump is the projected winner of Kentucky and its eight Electoral College votes, the Associated Press reported.

The former president won 70.4% of the vote in the state.

Kamala Harris won Vermont and its three electoral votes as polls closed at 7 p.m. ET.

Polls have closed in the critical swing state of Georgia.

They also closed in South Carolina, Virginia, Vermont, and the rest of Indiana and Kentucky, and parts of Florida.

Georgia is one of the seven key battleground states that will decide the election.

In an exit poll, 46 percent of voters in Georgia said they had a favorable view of Trump.

And 49 percent said they had a favorable view of Harris.

The exit poll found 40 percent of voters in Georgia said the economy mattered most in deciding how to vote in the presidential election.

It found 28 percent said the state of democracy, 14 percent said abortion, 11 percent said immigration and 3 percent foreign policy.

In Georgia, 52 percent of voters said their family’s financial situation was worse than it was four years ago, the exit poll found.

Former President Donald Trump voiced his concerns about Democrats cheating in Philadelphia and Detroit on social media on Tuesday, as voters were still going out to the polls.

‘A lot of talk about massive CHEATING in Philadelphia,’ Trump wrote on social media. ‘Law Enforcement coming!!!’

The former president did not immediately cite evidence to back his claim, which earned a sharp rebuke from City Commissioner of Philadelphia Seth Bluestein, a Republican.

Trump again made his claim, citing problems in Detroit, Michigan as well. ‘Philadelphia and Detroit! Heavy Law Enforcement is there!!!’ he wrote.

Additional bomb threats have derailed voting in the Atlanta area.

Police have responded to Tucker-Reid H. Cofer Library due to a bomb threat.

DeKalb County is the latest county to have polling locations targeted with bomb threats Tuesday leading to several evacuations.

DeKalb has had evacuations at seven different locations – five of them polling stations. Officials there are requesting extensions in voting times and saying those in line there will be allowed to vote.

Police have done multiple bomb sweeps at different areas as threatening calls have come in.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said earlier Tuesday that Russians were involved in the threats, particularly one that shuttered a school and polling location in nearby Fulton County south of Atlanta.

‘Georgia is not going to be intimidated. Russia just decided they picked on the wrong Georgia,” Raffensperger said Tuesday. ‘They need to pick on the other one in the Black Sea because we’re no going to be intimidated, but we’re just excited about where we are right now.’

The man who allegedly made the threats, Gregory Mitzel, did so just hours after the July 13 assassination attempt against Donald Trump.

He wrote on Facebook, according to the complaint: ‘Hey Hillary, you missed the next one’s coming for you and Joe.’

In another he added: ‘Joe you are going down you and Hillary are going down. You will be in a crosshairs. Thank you.’

‘The next step in this process has to be somebody put a bullet in Joe Biden’s head.’

Stephen Miller, a senior advisor to Donald Trump, has made a last-ditch call for men to vote with polls set to close across the country.

In another post Miller said: ‘WHAT ARE YOU DOING RIGHT NOW TO TURN OUT THE TRUMP VOTE? CALLING, TEXTING, EMAILING, DRIVING TO THE POLLS? TURN OUT THE VOTE!!!’

A Fox News exit poll sparked interest on soical media, as it showed that 56 percent of voters preferred that illegal immigrants get a chance for legals status as opposed to just 43 percent who supported deporting them.

The information suggests that Trump’s hardline position on immigration was not popular with voters, a sign that he was not doing well in the election.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger says that at least around 10 polling locations will stay open later.

These locations had voting disrupted due to threats that were quickly resolved.

‘It’s probably in that 10 number, plus or minus,’ he said of the impacted polling locations.

DeKalb County near Atlanta says five locations were evacuated due to bomb threats.

Another in Fulton County was evacuated earlier this morning.

The FBI and Raffensperger have said that they are investigating the occurrences.

The Secretary of State said earlier that Russians are involved.

‘Once each location is cleared, voters will be able to re-enter the facility and cast their ballots,’ officials wrote in a news release.

There were seven locations in total that have been impacted by bomb threats in Georgia on Election Day.

As polls start to close and the 2024 election heats up, Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are in a race that could come down to just a few thousand votes in seven battleground states.

With the polls indicating one of the closest elections in history, there’s a question over whether either major party presidential hopeful will reach the necessary 270 Electoral College votes to win the November 5 election outright.

Each candidate needs to find a path to victory that inevitably winds through crucial swing states – where they’re currently within the polling margin of error.

But even then, there is a scenario where the election results in neither candidate winning the required majority in the Electoral College and could tie 269-269.

Larry Hogan said he opted not to vote in the presidential election when he cast his 2024 ballot on Tuesday.

The former Maryland Governor, who is running in the Senate race in the state, said he wrote in the names of other Republicans the last two times Trump was on the ballot in 2016 and 2020.

‘I’ve said all along that I would never vote for somebody I don’t believe in, and I think a lot of people respect that decision,’ Hogan told the Baltimore Banner.

According to NBC’s exit poll, 72% of voters in swing state Nevada say that Democracy is threatened.

Only 26% of respondents disagreed.

Exit polls are the only surveys conducted entirely of voters who have already cast their ballots in the election.

It gives voters and news organizations a better sense of what is happening on the ground with voters on Election Day and in early voting as the results come in.

‘Tonight, the president and First Lady will watch election results in the White House residence with longtime aides and senior White House staff,’ a White House official said in a statement.

Votes are now being counted to decide whether Donald Trump or Kamala Harris will win the race for the White House.

The first supporters are beginning to trickle into the Palm Beach County Convention Center for a Trump watch party.

Trump himself spent the day holding get-out-the-vote phone rallies, before some ‘executive time,’ and is expected to watch the results this evening from his Mar-a-Lago estate with select guests, including his new best buddy Elon Musk.

He is expected to speak at the convention center. But the timing will depend on results, according to his team. As campaign spoikesman Tim Murtaugh put it:

He will look at the numbers and he will make his announcement at the appropriate time.

There is also a non-zero chance that he doesn’t speak at all, according to some seasoned Trump watchers.

A defamation case has been opened against Donald Trump by the Central Park Five, according to an Election Day court filing.

The summons were served to Trump’s security director Dand Freeman, Newsweek reports.

The notice was delivered at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home on October 24 in the afternoon.

They claim Trump made ‘demonstrably false’ comments about them during their 1989 trial where they were wrongly convicted for the murder of a jogger in New York’s Central Park.

Concerns emerged Tuesday morning over the high number of ballots being rejected in Nevada’s most populated counties.

Nevada’s Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar said the biggest issue is that signatures of many younger voters don’t match the signatures in their database, which are taken from those on their driver’s license.

As of Monday night, more than 11,300 ballots were reported as needing signature curing in Clark County, home of Las Vegas, and 1,800 in Washoe County, home of Reno and Tahoe.

It’s expected that with mail-in ballot processing Tuesday evening, the number of rejected ballots will only continue to grow.

If ballots are rejected due to signature matching issues, voters in the Battle Born State can fix it through November 12. This means if the election is close – as it’s expected to be – the rejected ballots could end up determining the outcome up to a week after Election Day.

The first polls in the 2024 election have CLOSED.

The polls have closed in Eastern Indiana and Eastern Kentucky, and now the ballots are being counted.

The first exit polls of the 2024 presidential election have been released and contained mixed results for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in what could be the tightest race in history.

Here’s a quick rundown of what the polls tell us:

With Kamala Harris and Donald Trump in a neck-and-neck race that could be decided by just a few thousand votes in seven key battleground states third-party candidates could well swing the race for either the Republican or Democrat.

In fact, third parties get mentioned most often when there’s potential for them to act as a spoiler, meaning that the number of votes they receive could tilt the election in favor of one of the two serious candidates by siphoning from the loser.

So with the race between Harris and Trump essentially a coinflip, keen political observers have pointed out that Libertarian presidential candidate Chase Oliver could be the deciding factor in the race.

Oliver, 39, is on the ballot in all seven swing states: Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Bucks County Pennsylvania is one of the most watched parts of the commonwealth as it was once traditionally a Republican county but has since gained more Democrat voters.

At the Warrington Fire Company No. 1, Station 29 polling station, the number of voters were picking up as the sun began to set.

Katie, a voter says she’s voting for women’s health care, but also the economy. Says she’s excited for the ads to be over and that she’s avoided political conversations this cycle.

‘I know everyone has their views and at the end of the day we’re all still friends and family,’ she said.

Lou, Jeri, and Bunny, three Republican women handing out sample ballots here are thrilled with turnout, judging by the sample ballots they have handed out.

‘A lot of Democrats are switching over,’ Jeri says, who has been at the polling location since 6:30 pm. ‘I would say 70-30.’

‘Absolutely ready for the election to be over,’ Lou says. ‘Ideally tonight.’

She said she would stay up until about 11:00 pm watching results, but did not have much hope that Pennsylvania votes would be counted in time to have a result.

‘We’re asking God to keep it all in his hands, whoever he wants in, please God, without any interference,’ Jeri said, citing the economy as her number one issue.

Lou said her number one issue was the border, warning of terrorists being let into the country.

Jason, a Democrat volunteer handing out sample ballots was animated about the election, and said he was optimistic that it would be a short night.

‘I think people are just tired, they’re tired of him they’re tired of his behavior, all of the illegal stuff he’s done,’ he said.

He said that voting ‘against Donald Trump,’ was his number one issue.

‘I just can’t fathom living under a dictatorship,’ he said that if Trump won it would ‘be the end of this country.’

The number of Hispanic voters has surged in Arizona.

In 2020 only 19 percent of voters were Hispanic.

But accoring to the 2024 exit poll 26 percent of voters are Hispanic this time.

Election officials in the critical battleground of Wisconsin are saying they will recount tens of thousands of votes.

Officials in Milwaukee are saying that 30,000 absentee ballots are to be recounted ‘out of an abundance of caution.’

It comes after an observer saw that a ballot tabulator was not correctly sealed, according to local reports.

The exit poll found 51 percent of voters trusted Trump on the economy and 47 percent said Harris.

By contrast, 51 percent said they trusted Harris most on abortion and 44 percent said Trump.

Sarah Ewall-Wice, Senior U.S. Political Reporter in Scottsdale, AZ:

Arizona’s Secretary of State Adrian Fontes said the state is monitoring threats made, but he assured voters and workers they are unsubstantiated.

The bomb threats were made to four specific Arizona locations in Navajo County.

‘These are unsubstantiated threats. We have no reason to believe that any of our voters or any of our polling places are in any sort of jeopardy,’ Fontes told reporters in an update this afternoon.

He was briefed by his security team and state law enforcement is working with the feds.

Fontes said it is believed the threat came from overseas, specifically mentioning Russia, but he would not get into details.

No polling locations were closed at any time, he said.

Separately, Arizona is working to address some technical issues involving printers in Apache County. He said most locations are running well but there have been a few residual issues.

Fontes said overall, Election Day is going very well across most of the state.

In the key state of Pennsylvania, 83 percent of voters were white, up from 81 percent in 2020, the exit poll found.

It found 9 percent of voters were black, down from 11 percent in 2020.

The proportion of Hispanic voters remained the same at 5 percent.

According to the exit poll 47 percent of voters in Pennsylvania had a favorable view of Trump, compared to the same in 2020.

The exit poll found 46 percent of voters in Pennsylvania had a favorable view of Harris, compared with 50 percent who said the same of Joe Biden in 2020.

Among Pennsylvania voters 30 percent said the economy mattered most in deciding how to vote in the presidential election.

And 33 percent said the state of democracy, 15 percent abortion, 12 percent immigration, and 3 percent foreign policy.

The poll found 50 percent of voters in Pennsylvania said their family’s financial situation was worse than four years ago.

In the 2020 exit poll only 16 percent said that.

Among Pennsylvania voters 73 percent said they think democracy in the U.S. is threatened, while 25 percent said it is secure.

The poll found 53 percent of Pennsylvania voters were women, the same as in 2020.

The survey of more than 110,000 voters nationwide found a country mired in negativity and desperation.

It also found about 8 in 10 voters want ‘substantial change’ in how the country is run, including about one-quarter who said they want complete and total upheaval.

About 7 in 10 voters said the country was on the wrong track.

The Associated Press exit poll found 53 percent of voters were women, which was one point up from the exit poll in 2020.

It also found 71 percent of voters were white, up from 67 percent in 2020.

This time, 11 percent were black, down from 13 percent in 2020.

And 12 percent were Hispanic, down from 13 percent in 2020.

North Carolina’s board of elections convened an emergency meeting Tuesday prompting an extra half hour of voting in two precincts.

The two precincts in Burke County and Wilson County will now close at 8 pm ET. There were technical issues reported in these instances.

The Wilson County location had ‘printer issues that led to voters not being able to vote for an hour or so,’ according to election board spokesperson Patrick Gannon.

Exit polls released by NBC News Tuesday found that ‘democracy’ was ranked as voters’ top issue in the 2024 election – narrowly beating out the economy.

Thirty-five percent said democracy, followed by 31 percent who said the economy.

Following that, 14 percent said abortion, 11 percent said immigration and just 4 percent said foreign policy.

CNN reported that the exit polls found that American voters are largely dissatisfied with the country right now and are future-looking.

Only 7 percent of voters said they were enthusiastic about the country, with another 19 percent saying they were satisfied.

Another 43 percent expressed that they were dissatisfied and 29 percent said they were angry.

That being said 61 percent said that America’s best days are in the future, versus 34 percent who said the country’s best days are in the past.

President Joe Biden remained unpopular. Fifty-eight percent said they disapproved of the job Biden was doing, versus 41 percent who approved.

All kinds of voters were surveyed to get these results, CNN’s political director David Chalian said, as Americans can vote in-person on Election Day, early in some states and by mail in many states.

A fresh exit poll by NBC found that 51 percent of voters trust Donald Trump more on the economy.

That’s compared to 47 percent who say they trust Kamala Harris more on the important issue.

Trump posted just before 5 pm. ET, but it wasn’t immediately clear what he is referring to.

Philadelphia’s District Attorney Larry Krasner said that no arrests have been made.

But ‘Election Day behavior has been more aggressive.’

City Commissioner of Philadelphia Seth Bluestein said there is ‘absolutely no truth’ to the ex-president’s allegation.

‘It is yet another example of disinformation. Voting in Philadelphia has been safe and secure.’

The former president also stated issues with voting in Detroit, Michigan.

The polls remain open in both states.

The Bidens will be joined by a long time aides and senior White House staff, a White House official told DailyMail.com.

Jill Biden spent Tuesday morning in Wilmington, Del., where she cast her vote in person. She then headed to the White House to join the president.

President Biden has no public events on his schedule for the day. He returned to the White House on Monday after spending the weekend in Wilmington.

State Democrats believe they can get a margin of 475,000 vote or more, Politico reported Tuesday afternoon.

If accurate, that would exceed Joe Biden’s 471,000 vote edge in 2020, despite a strong play by Donald Trump to pick off support from African Americans voters. That would still leave the election in the hands of more closely divided suburban counties.

Millions of voters are headed to the polls on Tuesday to cast their ballots in the 2024 presidential election and a series of races down ballot. But it could take some time to count those results.

What could give anxious Americans across the country some sense of where the country is headed is the exit polling which comes out as the results are coming in on Election Day.

The exit poll is the only survey conducted entirely of voters who have already cast their ballots in the election.

She’s been talking with her team and doing radio interviews.

According to CNN, she is driving home the fact she’s ‘not measuring the drapes’ before the results are known.

One source said: ‘She fundamentally believes that she has to see every vote counted until she can do the exhale.’

Tonight polls will close all over the nation and the U.S. will become one step closer to electing a new president.

While former President Donald Trump ran the longest campaign in U.S. history, Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris had just 15 weeks to catch up, after President Joe Biden dramatically ditched his reelection efforts.

Polls indicate that the race is extremely tight – and full results might not be known for days.

A federal judge based in Georgia has thrown out a Republican National Committee claim that votes filed over the weekend should be nullified.

The RNC argued that counties in Georgia broke existing law by accepting absentee ballots on the weekend.

The complaint did not have a ‘basic level of statutory review and reading comprehension’ the judge ruled.

North Carolina Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson is well behind his Democratic opponent following his porn scandal.

Robinson, who currently serves as Lieutenant Governor, was polling close to his opponent Josh Stein for the entire summer until a report from CNN derailed his campaign.

The expose highlighted how Robinson had gone on porn websites and written things like ‘I’m a black NAZI!’

Robinson, who is black, also wrote on these sites he was not disturbed by slavery.

Now the GOP candidate is behind 10 -18 points to Stein depending on the poll.

President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden will watch the election results tonight in the White House residence.

They will be joined by a long time aides and senior White House staff, a White House official told DailyMail.com.

And the president will receive regular updates on the state of races across the country.

Jill Biden spent Tuesday morning in Wilmington, Del., where she cast her vote in person. She then headed to the White House to join the president.

President Biden has no public events on his schedule for the day. He returned to the White House on Monday after spending the weekend in Wilmington.

As speculation mounts about what a Kamala Harris cabinet might look like if she wins, Washington politicos are curious: Will she push for a continuation of the Biden administration or try to unburden herself from his record and chart a fresh course?

New video from inside the chaotic Cambria County polling station in Pennsylvania shows the moment voting machines suddenly stopped working on election day.

The footage, obtained by Daily Mail, shows voters being asked to place their ballots into a box rather than submit it to the electronic machine.

Dubious voters did as asked, then shared their thoughts on social media.

‘Very interest… they go to start scanning our ballots into the box and guess what? The box doesn’t work,’ said Amanda Wagner.

‘What did they do? They just unlock it and stick all of our ballots underneath.’

Officials filed an order to extend voting hours in the county from 8pm to 10pm following the ‘software malfunction’ that kept voters from scanning their ballots.

It remains unclear what triggered the malfunction. Officials insist it has now been repaired.

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump spent a total of $3.5 billion in the most expensive presidential campaign ever.

That included $400 million on adverts in the key state of Pennsylvania.

In total, $1.5 billion was spent on adverts in the seven battleground states.

Harris and groups affiliated with her spent $1.9 billion compared to $1.6 billion on the Trump side.

Barron Trump was absent as his parents Donald and Melania Trump cast their ballots in Florida on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old was missing at the polling station at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center in Palm Beach.

It is not known if or when Barron, who can legally cast his ballot for the first time, has cast his vote.

Trump told reporters outside the polling booth he felt ‘very confident’.

U.S. Capitol Police have arrested a man entering the Capitol Visitor Center who was seemingly doused in fuel and carrying a torch.

The scary incident was reported around 1:45 pm ET on the force’s X account.

‘Our officers just arrested a man who was stopped during our screening process at the Capitol Visitor Center (CVC),’ the post says.

‘The man smelled like fuel, had a torch & a flare gun.’

‘The CVC is closed for tours for the day, while we investigate,’ the post continues.

Guam, which holds a symbolic straw poll since its votes don’t count toward the Electoral College, had Harris emerging victorious.

She was on 49.5 percent to Trump’s 46.2 percent, which is much closer than anticipated.

Biden beat Trump in the same straw poll in 2020 by over 13 points.

Guam’s vote usually is in line with the winner of the U.S. popular vote, which it has correctly predicted since 2004.

While abortion has been a central issue in the 2024 presidential race, and it is also on the ballot in ten states in the November election.

It could be a driving force to get some people to the polls as abortion access has been a mobilizing one since Roe v Wade was overturned ending the national right to an abortion and sending abortion access back to states.

Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe with the Dobbs decision in June 2022, 21 states have banned abortion or passed further restrictions beyond Roe.

But since Roe fell, multiple states have given voters a say on whether to protect or further restrict abortion rights.

For every abortion measure that has been on a ballot so far, be it to protect, expand access or restrict it, voters have opted to protect abortion rights including in red states such as Ohio and Kansas.

Donald Trump’s campaign is huddling to discuss the former president’s election night plans in Palm Beach, Florida – and is factoring in the likelihood that the election will not be called tonight.

Trump will be watching from his Mar-a-Lago resort and aides are sorting out when, or if, he will deliver remarks to the press, sources familiar with the talks told CNN.

But while they are coming to accept that a winner likely will not be declared between this evening, the Trump team believes that some critical swing states will be called before the end of the night that could foretell which way the race is going, the report said.

‘Yeah, I mean, I’m hearing the same things that you’re hearing. I’m hearing states where I’m up by a lot, but they won’t have a final number for a long time,’ he told reporters.

‘I don’t know what’s going to happen in terms of declaring victory.’

Election officials in Maricopa County say things are running smoothly this morning as thousands of people head to the polls.

Maricopa County has more than half the residents of Arizona with a population of more than 4.5 million and is one of the biggest bellwethers in the country. It went to Donald Trump in 2016 but is key for Democrats’ holding the state after President Biden won it in 2020.

Election officials held a press conference where they said more than 93,000 people already showed up to cast ballots at some 246 vote centers this morning. The average wait time is 2 minutes with a small number of centers having 30-minute wait times.

Officials stated that no vote centers had been shut down and said any reporting to the contrary this morning is misinformation.

The organization Vote From Abroad says that about 2.9 million Americans will be voting from abroad during the 2024 presidential election. In 2020, 2.8 million overseas Americans voted.

Most of the overseas votes come from Canada, Great Britain, France and Mexico, Japan, Israel and Australia, Newsweek reported.

The Detroit News has reported that the FBI arrested two people in Michigan for issuing threats in the days before the 2024 presidential election on Tuesday.

Issac Sissel, 25, was reportedly linked to several online threats targeting Republican candidate Trump.

He allegedly told officials felt Trump ‘should have been assassinated’ and predicted there would be violence following today’s election.

Reddit had alerted authorities about Sissel’s back in September.

Christopher Clay Pierce, 46, was arrested for making online threats against a political action committee.

The president has no public appearances on his schedule and his press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, won’t be holding her typical daily briefing on Tuesday.

Biden made his final campaign appearance on Saturday when he delivered a speech to laborers on behalf of the Harris-Walz campaign in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Trump spoke briefly with reporters before casting his ballot in Palm Beach.

He blasted Oprah, who joined Kamala Harris at her final rally in Pennsylvania on Monday night, accusing her of stoking division in the country.

‘I think Oprah has become a major divider in our country and she should be ashamed of herself,’ he fumed.

The man, who had previously been convicted of a felony, was told that he was ineligible to vote because he had not re-registered after being released from prison.

He had gone to vote in the town of Fowler near the Canadian border at about 6:30 am.

The man became irate and began threatening to return with a gun or to burn the place down, police said.

He fled but was later picked up by state police and brought to the station for questioning. Charges against him were pending.

Mark Fisher, who lists himself as a co-founder of Black Lives Matter Rhode Island, warned that it would be a ‘disaster for the country’ if Kamala Harris is elected.

‘Historically the Democrat party has been the party that black people overwhelmingly vote for, but we haven’t gotten anything in return,’ Fisher told the New York Post. ‘To me that is the definition of insanity.’

The former president, wearing his signature ‘Make America Great Again’ hat, answered many questions and slammed reports of chaos at the polling stations around the nation. He also wore an ‘I voted’ sticker.

‘It is crazy,’ he said. ‘I am just hearing in certain states it is going to be a long time.’

He specificially mentioned Pennsylvania, the battleground state that could decide the winner. Polls show the race there is tied.

‘I’m hearing in Pennsylvania they won’t have an answer until two or three days from now. I think it’s an absolute outrage if that’s the case,’ Trump noted. ‘In certain states it is going to be a long time and it won’t even be close. It won’t be that close. They say I will win the state but it will take a long time to certify it.’

But he said he would concede if he lost a ‘fair’ election.

‘If it’s a fair election I would be the first one to acknowledge it if I lost. And so far I think it’s been fair,’ he said. Trump, on the campaign trail, has indicated he doesn’t trust the voting process and could challenge the results if Harris wins.

‘I ran a great campaign. I think it was maybe the best of the three. We did great in the first one, much better in the second one. Something happened. And this was the best — I would say this was the best campaign we ran,’ he said.

The podcaster and former Fox News host attended Trump‘s rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Monday in the final hours of one what could be the closest elections in history.

She told the crowd why she decided to cast her ballot for the former president despite their rollercoaster relationship over the years that included very public spats during his first run for president.

‘I feel very confident,’ Trump said after he cast his vote in Palm Beach. ‘I hear we’re doing very well everywhere.’

‘I ran a great campaign. I think it was maybe the best of the three. We did great in the first one. We did much better in the second one but something happened. I would say this is the best campaign we’ve run,’ he said, standing next to his wife, Melania Trump.

Asked if he had any regrets about his campaign, Trump responded, ‘I can’t think of any.’

Voters in Cambria County in western Pennsylvania have been forced to place their paper ballots into boxes after voting machines malfunctioned throughout the entire county.

Footage obtained by DailyMail.com shows the swing state‘s voters placing their ballots inside a box under the voting machines after a massive malfunction.

Voting hours have been extended for the county after it took hours for the issues to be resolved.

Voters will now have until 10 pm to cast their ballots on Election Day.

On a breezy autumn day in north Georgia, Fiona Bagley mused in the back of her tea shop about Donald Trump winning a second White House bid.

‘I don’t think he wants to be a dictator,’ the 64-year-old retired Captain of the Royal Military Police explained. ‘I don’t think he wants to do any of the bad things they say.’

Bagley, originally from Epsom, Surrey before settling with her American husband in Dahlonega, Georgia, is unconcerned with the Trumpian horror scenarios many of her U.K.-based friends are frantically posting about on Facebook and that she sees in her newsfeeds.

She’s busy trying to make her bottom line and 18 employees depend on it.

‘The last four years have been brutal,’ the 60-year-old entrepreneur explained.

‘I’ve seen my shipping costs double, the price of product has doubled, but people’s incomes have not risen to the same amount. So they’re not spending the money.’

Harris said she will watch the election results come in from her alma mater, Howard University.

‘The first office I ever ran for was freshman class representative at Howard University,’ Harris recalled in her Tuesday interview with the Big Tigger Morning Show on V-103 in Atlanta. “And to go back tonight to Howard University, my beloved alma mater, and be able to hopefully … recognize this day for what it is — really it’s full circle for me.”

Howard, located in the nation’s capital, is part of the historically Black colleges and universities founded before 1964 for African American students.

If she wins, Harris will be the first HBCU alum to serve as president.

Officials have extended voting hours in Cambria County following a ‘software malfunction’ kept voters from scanning their ballots.

Election workers said ‘there is a process in place for issues of this nature’ and the malfunction ‘should not discourage voters from voting at their voting precincts.’

‘The Cambria County Board of Election learned early this morning that a software malfunction in the County’s Electronic Voting System has prevented voters from scanning their ballots,’ the Office of County Commissioners said.

‘The Board has filed a Court Order extending the time to vote within Cambria County. No one should be turned away from the polls if they wish to cast their vote. Cambria County Board of Elections took measures to have IT specialists called to review the software issue. All completed ballots will be accepted, secured, and counted by the Board of Elections.’

There is a last-minute surge of betting on Donald Trump.

On the forecasting site Predictit he overtook Kamala Harris last night and has surged this morning.

The site now gives Trump a 10 percent lead in terms of his chances of winning the election.

It reflects similar movement on other betting sites.

Fulton County authorities announced multiple non-credible bomb threats at local polling places Tuesday morning.

Fulton County School Police received threats at several schools that were also polling places around 8:15 am ET.

Feldwood Elementary School in south Fulton was cleared by authorities and no evidence of a bomb was found.

No one was evacuated during the sweep, authorities confirmed.

The impacted polling locations will now stay open later than the expected 7 pm ET closing time.

Local election officials said that the location likely will remain open an additional 30 minutes until around 7:30 pm local time.

Georgia’s election chief said that the bomb threats were possibly of ‘Russian origin’ on Tuesday.

‘The Russians are not our friends,’ Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger added.

The FBI also confirmed the threats from ‘Russian email domains,’ calling them ‘non-credible.’

‘The FBI is aware of bomb threats to polling locations in several states, many of which appear to originate from Russian email domains. None of the threats have been determined to be credible thus far.’

Kamala Harris has cut Donald Trump’s double-digit lead among male voters in half to single digits, a new Marist poll found.

Voter breakdowns have long shown a gender gap with women supporting Harris and men supporting Trump.

Harris making up ground with the male vote would be a troubling sign for the former president.

At the beginning of October, Trump had a 16-point lead among men – 57% to Harris’s 41%, according to an NPR/PBS News/Marist Poll.

Now Harris had cut that down to just four points: she has 47% to Trump’s 51%, according to the latest numbers released Monday.

The rivals have each painted one another as extreme. They both warn their opponent will be a disaster for America.

Whether they will be able to implement their wish list depends on a number of factors, including which party controls Congress.

But their grand plans are a crucial indicator in what four years of a Trump or Harris administration would look like.

• Election Day in the United States is now often considered election week as each state follows its own rules and practices for counting ballots — not to mention the legal challenges — that can delay the results. But the truth is, nobody knows how long it will take for the winner to be announced this time.
• In 2020, The Associated Press declared President Joe Biden the winner on Saturday afternoon — four days after polls closed. But even then, The AP called North Carolina for Trump 10 days after Election Day and Georgia for Biden 16 days later after hand recounts.
• Four years earlier, the 2016 election was decided just hours after most polls closed. The AP declared Trump the winner on election night at 2:29 a.m. (it was technically Wednesday morning on the East Coast).

Betting market Kalshi now has Donald Trump with a 60 percent chance of winning the election.

It’s three points higher for Trump than Kalshi’s Monday prediction.

A local reporter in Queens, New York, has reported that several scanning machines are not working properly across the borough.

Trump’s running mate JD Vance just voted in his hometown of Cincinnati. His wife Usha and children looked on as he talked to the press afterwards.

He said he felt good abouy the way the result was headed and admitted he missed a call from the former president at 3am because he was in bed, asleep while Trump was flying back from his final event.

He was asked what he could do to heal the political divide in the country.

I think our message is, first of all, we do expect to win. But obviously, no matter who wins, half the country, as you said, is going to be at least partially disappointed. I think my attitude is the best way to heal the rift in the country is to try to govern the country as well as we can, create as much prosperity as we can for the American people, and remind our fellow Americans that we are all fundamentally on the same team, however we voted.

The pollster Nate Silver has released his final prediction of the 2024 election.

As of 12:30 am Tuesday and after 80,000 model simulations, Democrat Kamala Harris beat Donald Trump in just a hairsplitting 50.015% to Trump’s 49.985%.

That equates to Harris winning 40,012 simulations to Trump’s 39,718.

The outlying few were electoral ties that eventually resulted in Trump victories due to the House of Representatives’ involvement in the process in the case of a 269-269 electoral college draw.

The nail-biting race is one of the closest in history and is likely to be decided by a couple of thousand votes in smatterings across swing states.

Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Nevada and Michigan will all be closely watched today as votes trickle in. Those states are the crucial swing states that will ultimately decide the outcome.

The Republican senator voted Tuesday morning at the St Anthony of Padua Maronite Catholic Church in Cincinnati.

He arrived with his wife Usha and their children.

‘Look, I feel good. You never know until you know, but I feel good about this race,’ Vance said after he and his wife cast their ballots.

Vance said he would depart for Palm Beach, Florida, later today to be with Donald Trump as results come in.

NFL owners have donated around $30million to political parties and causes ahead of this year’s seismic presidential election.

Election officials have reported that several ballot scanners are down in Cambria County in the swing state of Pennsylvania.

Voters have shared footage of people standing in line as the voting process was interrupted by the technical issues.

Officials have instructed voters to place their paper ballots inside boxes and voting hours have been extended until 10pm.

The Republican National Committee filed a lawsuit to ensure that polls in the county will remain open longer due to the delays and long lines.

RNC Co-Chairman Michael Whatley said Tuesday:

We understand that there are some line delays on the ground. We need you to stay in line. We need you to fill out your ballot in full and deliver it. Our Pennsylvania lawyers are all over this issue and will ensure fairness and accuracy in the process. Stay in line! Deliver your ballot!

Kamala Harris returned to Washington D.C. in the early hours of Tuesday morning after her closing rally in Philadelphia.

She was accompanied by her husband Doug Emhoff, sister Maya Harris and brother-in-law Tony West, niece Meena Harris and her husband Nikolas Ajagu, and grand nieces Amara and Leela.

Harris is spending Election Day at the Naval Observatory, the vice president’s residence in Washington D.C., where she will call into radio interviews in several battleground states.

She will hold an election night rally at Howard University, her alma mater.

The Vice Presidential hopeful was interviewed in a Philadelphia coffee shop for the  segment.

The relaxed affair saw the two play a game of paper football as they chatted about Walz and Kamala Harris‘ plans for an ‘opportunity economy’.

House GOP Chairwoman Elise Stefanik said she is confident Donald Trump will win because of his surging numbers among women.

‘Trump is doing better with women than Kamala Harris is doing with men,’ House GOP Chair Elise Stefanik noted during an interview with CBS.

She said she has ‘zero concerns’ about the Republican’s fitness to lead and believes his pitch down the stretch has resonated with all Americans.

Pete Buttigieg argued a vote for Kamala Harris is a vote to have a ‘normal Republican Party again.’

The Transportation Secretary pointed to the divisiveness Donald Trump has brought to the other of the aisle as he appealed to GOP voters to cast their vote for Harris.

‘A vote for Kamala Harris is, I think, a vote for someday, having a more normal Republican Party again,’ he told CBS This Morning.

‘I think a lot of us just don’t want to feel like politics is punching us in the face,’ he added.

‘If it wasn’t for him (Musk) we’d be f***ed,’ Rogan wrote on X just hours before the polls open.

‘He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.

The tiny New Hampshire township of Dixville Notch, first in the nation to vote, saw a tie before Harris and Trump.

The town opened and closed its polls just after midnight EST, as is tradition, with four Republicans and two undeclared voters participating.

After 12 minutes of counting, the results showed three votes for Harris and three votes for Trump.

Back in 2020, Joe Biden won all the votes. In 2016, Hillary Clinton received four votes, Trump two and Gary Joghson one.

As the rivals have focused their efforts on securing votes in the battleground states that could determine the outcome of the election, Hollywood A-listers have been hoping their endorsements can sway the public.

Showbiz royalty, including Oprah and Beyoncé, have accompanied Harris, 60, on stage at her campaign events, urging voters to turn up at the polls.

People have lined up since the early hours of Tuesday to vote in the state of Pennsylvania, widely seen as critical to winning the White House.

Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina and Wisconsin are also seen as crucial in the path to victory.

Jones, who worked for President Obama, told CNN on Monday that the final days of the 2024 election have looked eerily similar to Hillary Clinton‘s devastating loss in 2016.

‘The other thing that makes me nervous, in 2016, we had a big star-studded event right on the edge of the election, and we lost the state,’ Jones said.

‘I don’t think people understand, working people sometimes have to choose. Am I going to go to the big, cool concert and pay for babysitting for that or am I going to figure out a way to get to the polls? I don’t like these big star-studded events.’

Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump both spent the waning hours of their campaigns in the well-trodden swing states of Pennsylvania and Michigan, widely seen as critical to winning the White House.

Harris wrapped her day in Philadelphia, where Lady Gaga sang ‘God Bless America’ and Oprah Winfrey appeared on stage with first-time voters. Ricky Martin, who is from Puerto Rico, was also there to draw out Puerto Rican voters turned off by a comedian who called their homeland a “floating island of garbage” at a recent Trump rally.

‘Our people-powered movement reflects a simple and undeniable truth: that we are all in this together,’ Harris said.

Harris didn’t arrive at the vice president’s residence, the Naval Observatory, until 1:41 a.m.

Trump, meanwhile, spent the final hours of the day in Grand Rapids, Michigan, wrapping up around 2 a.m.

But the result was an ominous forecast of what is one of the closest races in history – 3 for Trump, and 3 for Harris.

While a tie, it’s a sharp swing away from the Democrats.

In 2020, five of the voters went for Biden, with only one voting red.
