Hyderabad: The Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, has been ranked among the world’s top 100 business schools in the QS Global MBA Rankings released on Wednesday. The institute is ranked fourth in India and 78th in the world.
The top three positions in India are occupied by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) in Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Kolkata.
Established in 2001, ISB scored 85.4 for citations per paper, 76 for H-index citations, 66.2 for academic reputation and 62.5 for employer reputation.
Even in the last two rankings, ISB was ranked fourth in India. However, its global ranking has improved this year compared to the last two years.
As many as 315 business schools are included in this year’s ranking of the best full-time MBA programmes, with Stanford Graduate School of Business taking the top spot. It’s one of five US schools to appear in this year”s top 10, ahead of Penn (Wharton) in second place.
The rankings take into account employability, entrepreneurship, return on investment, thought leadership and diversity, among other factors.
