If Gujarat wins both of their remaining matches

If Gujarat wins both matches, they can attain a maximum of 14 points, which could be enough if SRH, CSK and LSG win only one of their remaining matches and lose their final fixture of league phase. 

However, in this case, GT need to improve their net run-rate, which is (-)1.063.

How a rain-curtailed match could hamper GT’s chances?

A rain-curtailed match will drift the match in favour of KKR given the Shreyas Iyer’s side have many power-hitters, which would more dangerous in case they have to face less number of balls.

Meanwhile, the power-hitters in Gujarat’s line-up have been out of form in the IPL 2024 so far.
