India Vs Australia 1st Test Day 1, Highlights: Captain Bumrah Leads From Front With Four-fer; AUS Trail By 83 Runs – News18
India vs Australia 1st Test Highlights:
The skipper, Jasprit Bumrah led from the front to help India come back into the contest after a disappointing show with the bat. The captain took charge with a four-wicket haul to help the visitors get back into the contest.
India’s other pacers, Mohammed Siraj and Harshit Rana took two and one wicket each as Australia were left reeling after losing seven wickets for just 67 runs in the first innings.
Earlier, Debutant Nitish Reddy’s gutsy 41 and Rishabh Pant’s brief daredevilry proved to be the fleeting silver lining in an otherwise batting no-show by India as they were shot out for a lowly 150 at tea against a disciplined Australia in the first Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test in Perth
