This week on HorseCenter, Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman handicap the second leg of the Triple Crown as Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan looks to add the Preakness Stakes. Your hosts also offer suggested wagers for the big race, as well as offering top picks for the Black-Eyed Susan.
Mystic Dan’s task changed when the morning-line favorite Muth was scratched after spiking a fever. A field of eight 3-year-olds now is expected to start Saturday at Pimlico.
The feature on Friday is the Grade 2 Black-Eyed Susan for 3-year-old fillies, which also has a field of eight. Corposo and Gun Song are the morning-line favorites, but both Matt and Brian made long shots their top picks.
Good luck this weekend with the big races in Baltimore. As always, thanks for watching the show.
