While Goodtimes Badtimes (second choice) and Jac Jumper should get seriously involved, the safest option for win purposes may be TOM CREEN to take this race for a second year running. Faha Belle may prove best of the two chasing newcomers.
The Lucinda Russell-trained KOW BOY SIVOLA was a promising third on last month’s hurdle debut at Perth and gets the nod ahead of bumper winner Kabuki, who’s making his third hurdle start. Aire Spray could also be involved if his jumping improves.
Good cases can be made for a few of these, but top of the list is REDBRIDGE RAMBLER, who was progressive in staying handicap hurdles earlier this year and goes up in trip on his second chase start.
Sean Og came clear with a highly progressive winner at Hexham most recently and is feared most ahead of Breakdance Kid, who reverts to a staying trip. Big Bee Hive was in fine form when last seen and is another to consider.
