The Hong Kong Tourism Board and the Hong Kong-China Dragon Boat Association have announced the eagerly awaited 2024 Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races, inviting tourists from around the globe to experience this historic event. Set against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour, the two-day festival will take place on June 15 and 16, 2024. Over 170 teams and 4,000 international dragon boat athletes will compete in this thrilling event.

A captivating pyrotechnic display is scheduled for June 15, the first day of the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races, inviting international visitors to enjoy a spectacular show under Hong Kong’s skyline after a day of exciting races.
More events splashing into town in June
Debuting on June 1 and 2 is the popular Korean festival Waterbomb, known for its music and water fights. Hosted at the West Kowloon Cultural District, the festival will feature performances by renowned Korean artists such as Jay Park, Rain, Jessi, and Hyuna. Tourists and audiences will also have the chance to participate in thrilling water fights with their favorite stars.
On June 8 and 9, Hong Kong will host S20, the largest water music festival, bringing electrifying performances by internationally acclaimed DJs and artists to the Central Harbourfront.
