Vera Wang sported a short bob and black sunglasses.
The 78th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) took place on Sunday, February 16, at the Albert Hall in London. The event saw some of the biggest names in Hollywood and fashion gracing the event with their presence. Among the celebrities who attended the event was ace American fashion designer Vera Wang. The 75-year-old designer served a major fashion moment on the red carpet as she donned a bustier top with a skirt and leather jacket.
For her appearance at the BAFTA Awards, Vera Wang opted for a black strapless bustier top. The design of the top mimicked an eyewear. She paired this futuristic-looking top with a floor-grazing skirt. The skirt came with a black peplum detail which complemented the black top. From the peplum onwards, the skirt graduated into a flowing silhouette in luxurious white fabric.
Taking to her Instagram, Vera Wang shared her BAFTAs look and wrote, “Giving a sneak peek ….. putting the pieces together! #VeraWangHaute #VeraWangEyewear.”

Vera paired her edgy outfit with a black leather jacket. She arrived on the red carpet wearing the jacket. As she took centre stage, she took off her jacket and showed off her stunning outfit. For the accessories, she ditched everything. She ditched all statement accessories and only sported a pair of black sunglasses from her brand.
For the glam, she went with a minimalistic makeup look. She went with a flawless base and defined her eyes with a soft nude shade on her eyelids. Her signature thin eyebrows elevated her look and took it to the next level. She added a soft pink shade on her lips. She sported a short black bob and also bid goodbye to her long hair.
