13:45 (Epsom) White Chapel Road
14:25 (Epsom) Anniversary
14:55 (Epsom) Lasting Love
15:30 (Epsom) Cambria Legend
16:05 (Epsom) Dashinwhitesargent
16:40 (Epsom) Arkhalia Flynn
17:15 (Epsom) Hodler
White Chapel Road was off the mark at the fourth attempt when a winner of a seven furlong maiden at Brighton.
Proven on a similar track which could be a big advantage and will be a leading player in the Betfred ‘Double Delight’ Nursery Handicap.
Similar comments can be applied to the main threat Pietro who won a course and distance nursery by 0.5L before a good Haydock second tackling seven furlongs.
Anniversary can again showcase his huge potential by taking the Betfred Derby “Wild Card” EBF Conditions Stakes.
Ralph Beckett’s juvenile went under the radar heading into what looked a hot Newmarket maiden last month, starting out as a 16-1 chance in a race previously won by the likes of Frankel and Motivator.
However, he was always travelling nicely throughout that contest and came through strongly to take control during the final furlong, comfortably holding off Aidan O’Brien’s fast-finishing Scandinavia.
The runner-up has since disappointed at Doncaster but third-placed King Of Cities and fourth home Vecu have performed well enough to frank the form.
Anniversary showed signs of greenness when initially asked to kick on by Rob Hornby but ultimately stormed ahead in a taking fashion and will surely only benefit from that experience and another six weeks to mature.
Any recent rain should not be an issue, as his dam Lixirova won a Group Three contest on heavy ground in France as a two-year-old, while sire Sea The Moon scored on soft going.
Lasting Love enjoys soft going. Could prove hard to beat following a smart 5.5L second in a 1m2f soft ground maiden at Goodwood and rates a leading contender in the Betfred ‘Pickyourpunt’ Novice Stakes.
Kaiya Fraser has really come through as a rising star this term and would be a fitting winner of the Betfred Apprentices’ Derby Handicap aboard Cambria Legend.
James Fanshawe’s gelding ran too freely at Kempton on his most recent start but had previously shown a liking for cut underfoot when scoring comfortably at Chester and the feeling is we have yet to see the best of him.
Course form counts for a lot at this undulating circuit and so Dashinwhitesargent gets the nod in the Betfred Nifty 50 Handicap.
Hughie Morrison’s colt kept on well to reel in the favourite Celtic Warrior close home here last month and that pair pulled nicely clear of the rest that day.
Arkhalia Flynn brings consistent form where soft ground success in this handicap grade at Windsor over 1m preceded a Haydock second. Ticks plenty of boxes in the Betfred Farewell Tom Sammes Handicap.
Hodler scored contesting a similar level course and distance handicap. Maintains solid form on heavy going and rates a leading player in the Betfred ‘Triple Crown Bonus’ Handicap.
