The class: Braylon Mullins, Darius Adams, Eric Reibe and Jacob Furphy.
Bossi’s take: Not that Dan Hurley cares all that much about about recruiting rankings, but Connecticut is starting to experience a real bump in the level of player that they attract due to being back-to-back National Champions.
Arguably the top shooter in the senior class, Mullins is a perimeter sniper with deep range and good athleticism. He’s also a competitor on the defensive side of the ball. Although Mullins the lone five-star in the class, Adams and Reibe are knocking on the door of five-star status.
Adams is a polished wing scorer. Reibe is a big man who has the size to anchor the paint to go along with the skill to face-up and shoot it. An import from Australia, Furphy is a play-making wing who should be able to play multiple positions.
Most importantly, these are all grinders who fit the ethos of Huskies.
