Dubai Golf and Viya Golf clubs have achieved outstanding success in the latest Golf World MENA Top 100 rankings, cementing the group’s commitment to continuous improvement across its facilities.
With Yas Links in Abu Dhabi retaining its top spot at #1 and significant progress seen across all clubs, this achievement highlights the dedication of the teams involved and the group’s ongoing investment in its world-class facilities.
In these latest rankings list from Golf World, Emirates Golf Club’s Majlis Course has risen from 9th to 3rd place, and Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Earth Course has jumped from 14th to 7th.
Meanwhile, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club have also moved forward in the rankings, now standing at 10th and 11th respectively. Yas Acres Golf and Country Club, a new entry in the rankings, debuts at 53rd and has earned the distinction of being the best rated 9-hole course in the MENA region.
Dubai Golf and Viya Golf positions in 2024 Golf World Top 100 MENA Rankings:
Commenting on the success Christopher May, Dubai Golf CEO, said: “We are absolutely delighted to see strong results in the latest Golf World MENA Top 100 rankings. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the teams at each of our clubs, particularly the agronomy teams whose relentless commitment to maintaining exceptional course conditions has been crucial to our success.”
May added: “Through continuous investments, such as the new state-of-the-art irrigation system at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, we are able to further enhance our product offering and elevate the experience for all golfers. We’re proud to be able to offer members and visiting golfers some of the very best golf this region has to offer, and we’re always looking to keep getting better.”
These latest rankings come as Dubai Golf and Viya Golf begin preparations to host prestigious DP World Tour events over the next six months. First, Yas Links will play host to the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the first event in the DP World Tour’s two-part playoff series. Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Earth Course will then see the return of the season-ending DP World Tour Championship before the tour returns to the UAE in January for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic at Emirates Golf Club on the Majlis Course.
Golf World’s MENA course rankings build on last year’s Top 100 World Golf Resorts list which saw Dubai Creek enter at #43 and the #1 golf resort in the UAE, and Yas Links enter at #50 as #1 in Abu Dhabi. This year’s progress is a testament to the group’s ongoing drive to set new standards in the region’s golf industry.
