In perhaps the wildest game of the week, Turpin delivered the most dynamic — and important — score of a frenzied final few minutes during the Cowboys’ 34-26 victory against the Washington Commanders. With the Commanders having cut their deficit to three points, Turpin muffed the ensuing kickoff, gathered himself and the ball before losing the Washington coverage team. Turpin hit a spin move and sprinted for a 99-yard kickoff return score. He had four kick returns on the day, totaling 179 yards. It was the 99-yarder that was of course biggest, as it set up a Brandon Aubrey extra point that stood as the game-winner.
