The new year is closing in fast, and with that in mind, Condé Naste Traveler recently published their top picks for travel in 2025.
While Colorado didn’t make the cut to be included on the publication’s global list – only Space Coast (Florida) and Alaska did among American states – Denver was included on Condé Naste Traveler’s ‘best places to travel in North America’ list.
The publication encouraged readers to visit the Mile High City to experience “a polychromatic food scene” and “new lodgings that straddle past and present.” Xiquita, Alma Fonde Fina, Sap Sua, Odell’s Bagel, and Laws Whiskey House got a shout-out when it came to dining while Populus, Urban Cowboy, and the Crawford hotel were recommendations for places to stay.
It’s also worth noting that Denver can make a great base camp for day-trip excursions to nearby mountainous terrain, such as that of Boulder, Golden, and Rocky Mountain National Park.
What’s your take on Condé Naste Traveler’s top pick? Do you think Denver is deserving of the shout-out or should another Colorado spot be included, too? Let us know in the comments.
