Good morning, Chargers fans!
We’re having some fun this morning discussing what city in the US would be the best place for a hypothetical expansion of the NFL. Obviously a new team would create an odd amount at 33, but let’s not let that top us.
For me, it’s hard not to see how St. Louis has come out in droves over the past two years to support their XFL-then-UFL club in the Battlehawks. They led those leagues in attendance in both 2023 and 2024 and it’s easy to see how that would likely be the far-and-away most successful place for a new franchise.
They love their spots. It’s a phenomenal city. It all makes sense.
