MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks got a triple-double from Giannis in a 129-117 victory over the Indiana Pacers in NBA Cup group play.
Antetokounmpo scored 37 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds. It’s his second triple-double of the season.
Damian Lillard added 24 points and 12 assists. Gary Trent Jr. added 18 points and Bobby Portis scored 17.
The win keeps Milwaukee atop East Group B in the NBA Cup standings. The Bucks are 2-0, tied with Detroit, while Indiana falls to 0-2 in group play. No Group B teams have advanced or been eliminated halfway through group play.
Of course the win also counts for the regular-season standings, where Milwaukee is 7-9. The Bucks have won three straight games and five of their last six after stumbling out of the gate.
