Fashion trends keep evolving, and what’s a good rundown of what’s in and what’s not if we don’t talk about everything that has been trending right now? Be it coquette-core vibes on old clothing styles making a comeback, 2024 has been quite the year, fashion-wise. So, if you want to know what’s trending along with some product recommendations, here’s a quick rundown of the same.
Some of us are still putting together outfits with whatever we’ve got in our closets and doing a damn good job at it. However, if you’d like to align yours with whatever is in right now, here are some trends you want to note.
It is everywhere on Instagram and it is all some people can talk about. While it may not be something that will flatter every body type, you can always cater such pieces to suit you with accessories and layering, among other things.
Short skirts and dresses with bubble hems or balloon skirts and dresses, as everyone’s calling them, can make for quite a flattering statement, if you’d like.
iDiva recommends: OYELA BUBBLE HEM BALLOON DRESS, Rs 2,599
This corset style fit with a bubble hem is actually the ideal way to style these outfits. You can wear a shirt inside if off-shoulder is not your style or you could use other forms of layering to balance the overall look.

This is one of those straight out of Pinterest and K-drama inspired trends that many have been acing, in fact. From gingham prints to shorts of various styles, prints and textures, everyone’s been talking about them.
If I go a little back into my Google search history, I’ve looked for red chequered pyjamas too, because well, they are too good to not have one of them.
iDiva recommends: H&M Cotton pyjama bottoms, Rs 999
Yep, it is one of those co-ord sets moments where many might make fun of you for simply stepping out in loungewear, but well, if styled right, you can do wonders with the overall look. You can choose either these pyjamas or find yourself similar shorts and style.

Everything coquette peaked earlier this year, but took a backseat for a while because there was a little too much of it. However, as we step closer to fall fashion, they are going to be back and you’ve gotta stack them up.
Bow dresses, bags and more — it’s all going to be back and everyone’s going to fall in love with them again!
iDiva recommends: Savana Ruffle Placket Blouse, Rs 1,390
At this point, all of us girlies have at least one top or dress with bow detailings and I love that about this trend. The way it makes the overall look perfectly girlie and dreamy is amazing. You can style them in various ways, and this front tie top is one such example.

Another thing on this list that I gave into a long time ago because high waist and trousers, both things seemed appealing to me. These are comfortable because they aren’t too tight and if you find the right material, you would want to take a break from denims at least for a bit.
I’m currently super into my straight fit black trousers and looking to add something brown or white to the collection.
iDiva recommends: Next One Women Smart Wide Leg Baggy Fit High-Rise Parallel Trouser, Rs 1,499
These baggy pants, as many would know, take a page from Korean fashion, and everyone’s been too much into it. They can be styled in multiple ways and more often than not, they are flexible enough to be styled for both casual and formal occasions.

For the longest time now, shirts haven’t been my style, although there are days I do lean towards them for lazy girl aesthetics. However, it is petite blouses that are unique to our personal choices and fashion that are quite the style statement, and will continue to do so in fall as well.
iDiva recommends: Tokyo Talkies Women Black Solid Shirt Style Tops, Rs 999
What makes it to this section of fashionable picks is rather individualistic than about all the trends. I love tops like these that have some stand-out features, or even blouses that have ruffles or play around with the overall structure, for that matter. Peplum styles are also back in fashion, so there’s that to consider, among other things.

While these are just some fashion trends that have been all over the internet, fall fashion will see the return of 90s style, boho vibes with a twist, and other trends that we can talk about once we come to it. Until then, diva up!
