I don’t know about you, but I feel like we blinked and it was the end of April.
This month has flown by in a wash of public holidays, sunny autumn days and events.
But there has been plenty on my wish and must-buy list this month, from game-changing beauty buys to collaborations between designers I admire and adore.

From beauty to fashion, home and travel pieces, below I reveal the 10 things I have snapped up in April and will be taking into the next month and beyond.
There’s bound to be some shopping inspiration for you in it.
It’s impossible to move past the Fredric Loafers in Hickory Box Leather by Wittner ($229), which are fast on their way to becoming the shoe of the season.
Both casual enough to pair with jeans and a T-shirt at the weekend and dressy enough to work for your formal or smart/casual occasions, the loafers will elevate any outfit when paired with a statement sock and matching bag.
They’re also super comfortable, so there’s no need to worry about having to wear them in either.
While the shoes are new to Wittner, they are already proving popular with shoppers online:
“These are the brogues I’ve been searching for all these years!” one woman wrote.
“Super comfy, and the perfect vintage/librarian nerd look I was after. I’m not often a chocolate brown person, but these I make an exception for.”
Another added: “Fabulous shoe, did not disappoint. Sizing was spot on too. Very comfortable to wear”.

With the weather cooling down, a good body exfoliator is key to maintaining soft and supple skin during the harsher months.
And there is no body exfoliator I love more than fresh’s iconic Brown Sugar Body Polish ($70; Sephora).
Inspired by the Persian concept of “sugaring”, fresh’s founders Lev and Alina pioneered the idea of creating a body scrub using brown sugar — a natural humectant that helps to maintain moisture and gently exfoliate smooth dry, dull skin — as it is much more emollient and soothing than salt scrubs, which can irritate the skin.
The result is a game-changing body scrub that combines exfoliating brown sugar with a number of nourishing oils including Camelina, Ginseng Root and Apricot Kernel — for a smooth, lasting finish.
While the body scrub is 25 years old, it has won a number of awards both in the past and present day.
These include the Allure Best of Beauty in 2001, as well as the Readers’ Choice in 2008 and 2010, as well as the Best Body Scrub Investment in 2024 by People Magazine.
I’m obsessed with it and find myself reaching for it in my shower at least twice a week.

I’ve been a fan of the LA-based brand Anine Bing for years now, and have always coveted one of her oversized stylish hoodies.
Which is why it was music to my ears when I heard that Reebok was teaming up with the legendary American designer and fashion blogger to launch a stylish capsule collection of separates and shoes.
My pick of the bunch has to be this Reebok x Anine Bing Oversized Crew ($250) in grey.
Made of heavyweight fleece for luxurious comfort with a touch of structure, the sweater features a collegiate-inspired crest which serves as a nod to vintage varsity.
The sweatshirt looks just as good paired with jeans and ballet flats as it does with leggings, ankle socks and trainers.

With running season well and truly underway, one of the things you are definitly going to need to get your hands on is a good pair of sport earphones.
Enter the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 Earphones ($499.95), which provide an unparralleled fusion of sound quality, cutting-edge features and personalised comfort.
What I love about these earphones is that they just do not budge when you wear them out running.
And not only this, but they are great at blasting out Taylor Swift’s new album when I’m doing my interval sessions.
If you’re looking for a new sport headphone to take to the gym, look no further.

Looking to upgrade your kids’ bedding and give them a stylish little bedroom?
I can’t moved past Sheridan’s new autumn/winter 2024 kids’ collection, with products that include bedding sets, quilt cover sets, fitted sheet sets and reusable tote bags.
In particular, I’m into the Lettie Kids’ Quilt Cover and Sheet Bedding Set (from $299.99), which features a cute reversible quilt cover and pillowcase in pink and white checks and a floral pattern.
Use it one way and then pull back the bedding to reveal an adorable dual pattern when they go to sleep.

With European travels on the horizon (woohoo), I’ve got my eye on updating my luggage collection this autumn.
And I can’t get past the latest collaboration between Samsonite and sports brand, New Balance.
I particularly love this 68cm Spinner ($449) in Olive, which will stand out on a baggage carousel and look good on your holiday.
The collection’s bold two-tone design, which features one block colour or texture on one side of the shell and another on the other side offers instant recognition.
You can also choose different-sized cases, including 55cm and 75cm if you’re after an extra-large option.
