We like: Easy to use
We don’t like: Allergen retention could be better
This Vax cordless vacuum cleaner has two power settings to choose from – standard and maximum – and the floorhead has handy headlights so you can see the dust under the sofa while you clean. The brush bar has stiff nylon bristles that can be switched on and off with a button on the handle, depending on the type of floor surface you’re cleaning.
Along with the vac itself, the box contains one lithium-ion battery and charger, a crevice nozzle, dusting brush, and wall mount. It also has an extra mini turbo tool for pet hair and a treated turbo brush bar that’s designed to reduce the buildup of bacteria and fungi in its bristles.
So how good is this cordless vacuum cleaner? Read our full Vax Blade 4 Pet review to find out.

Samsung’s QN85 series has long been populated by TVs with a range of modern features and state-of-the-art display technology.
The 55-inch QE55QN85D continues in that tradition, with its Neo QLED screen, Neo Quantum HDR, Dolby Atmos audio and a special mode for next-gen gaming. Plus there’s a twin-tuner PVR, so you can record two channels at once to a USB hard drive.

Since the release of the latest iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple’s best iPhone from 2023 – the iPhone 15 Pro Max – is seeing one of the best discounts we’ve ever seen on an iPhone, even though it’s not very old.
It’s currently on sale at Argos for just £749 – although we don’t think this deal will be available for long.
You can compare this to other Sim-free prices we’ve found below, or check contract deals. Also, you can find out what happened when we sent it to the lab in our iPhone 15 Pro Max review.

We like: It’s small and light
We don’t like: The screen quality isn’t great, based on our tests
This is a Windows laptop with an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 processor, 16GB of memory and a large 1TB storage drive. That’s pretty powerful, with enough memory for multitasking and lots of space to store files and apps.
Its 14-inch screen and 1.3kg weight could make it your perfect portable work partner. The webcam supports Windows Hello face recognition.

We like: It’s quick to charge
We didn’t like: Inferior speaker quality in our tests
This mid-range Lenovo tablet has a built-in kickstand that makes it bulkier than other tablets, but which comes in handy if you want to keep it upright.
The display isn’t as premium as more expensive devices, with a 1,200 x 2,000 resolution. However, it’s not often you find a tablet with an 11.5-inch display at this price – and it’s currently available for the cheapest price we’ve seen.

We like: Large capacity and dual cooking zones
We don’t like: Uses more energy than others
This air fryer has a total capacity of 9.5 litres, split between two 4.75-litre drawers. Ninja says that you can feed around eight people when this air fryer is completely full.
Each drawer can run its own program and timings, and there’s a useful sync function that ensures the food in both drawers is ready to serve up at the same time. It does this by starting the slower program first, so both timers hit zero simultaneously.
This air fryer has six functions: air fry, max crisp (for frozen food), roast, bake, dehydrate and reheat.
Is this the best choice for bigger families? Our full Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone AF400UK review reveals all.

We like: It’s quiet
We don’t like: It has some ease-of-use niggles
Big discounts on fridge freezers are thin on the ground right now, so you might think you’re making a terrible choice if you opt for something that looks like a bargain. But not so with this fridge freezer.
It’s a fairly basic model, which lacks fast-freeze or super-cool modes, and it doesn’t have the open-door alarms you might find on rival models.
You can fit 10 supermarket carrier bags of groceries inside. The doors are reversible so you can adapt the way it opens to suit your kitchen floor plan. If sleek black is not your bag, you can also buy it in white (RB327N4WWE) or stainless steel (RB327N4WCE) finishes for a similar price.
To discover if there are any drawbacks to this bargain read our full Hisense RB327N4WBE review.

This is a particularly attractive fibre broadband deal, given the 75Mbps average speed, plus you can top up your TV selection with entertainment, sports and cinema packages. Keep in mind that Now Broadband occasionally implements ad-hoc price increases (social tariffs excluded).

We like: It’s easy to turn over on this mattress
We don’t like: You might find it a bit bouncy
With prices typically starting at £250 for a double, it’s hard to find a better value mattress. Confusingly it is listed as the Sleepsoul and Birlea Sleepsoul for different prices in some retailers, so it’s worth checking for both if you want to track down the cheapest prices on the day that you buy.
It arrives rolled up in a box and only weighs 24kg, so it’s easy to carry to the room of your choice. It comes with four handles to help lift and rotate it to even out wear and tear.
Under the non-removable cover, it has a generous 21cm pocket sprung core and multiple layers of comfortable foam, which give it a soft tension. The layers include a cool gel foam which produces a ‘cold’ insulation level – helpful if you tend to overheat in the night.
Find out how well it encourages correct spinal alignment with our full Sleepsoul Heaven review.

* Average price in the past six months: £662.05. Cheapest price in the last six months: £359
We like: Low water use
We don’t like: Lengthy wash programs
This 9kg capacity, freestanding washing machine offers 13 wash programs to choose from, including options for cottons and mixed fabrics as well as a speedy 14-minute wash for smaller loads and an eco setting.
You can download extra programs via the LG smartphone app, ThinQ, which also allows you to start your appliance remotely and troubleshoot any issues you might have.
LG says this machine’s AI wash uses sensors to analyse your laundry’s weight and fabric type and optimises the washing motion to help clothes last longer.

As well as telling you which products are best and which are lacking, we’ve also put together a list of the best and worst shops.
We’ve quizzed thousands of Which? members on their experiences of shopping in some of the country’s best-known stores and websites, as well as with lesser-known brands.
After crunching the numbers, we can reveal which retailers score highly for product quality, range and value for money. To see the retailers that impressed in our latest shopping survey, head to our extensive guide on the best and worst shops.
Some retailers use underhand tactics to pressure you into making a purchase.
These include anchor pricing (when products are on sale more often than they aren’t), pressure selling (‘30 people are viewing this right now!’) and dubious claims about the ‘before’ price of a product.
If you’re unsure how good a deal is, use a tool such as PriceRunner to compare prices across retailers.
It’s always a good idea to read reviews before you buy a product, but not all reviews are trustworthy.
Some sellers incentivise people to post fake positive reviews to drown out genuine negative ones. If you’re in any doubt, check our expert guide on how to spot a fake review.
Whether you bought a product in-store or online, you still have rights under the Consumer Contract Regulations.
The regulations give you a 14-day window to return a non-faulty product, which begins on the day you receive your goods. Many retailers will give you longer than this, but it’s always best to check before you buy.
We’ve put together advice in our online returns guide on the additional rights you have when shopping online.
