FLUSHING, N.Y. – Baruch College has earned the No. 1 seed in the 2024 CUNYAC/HSS Women’s Tennis Championship. This year’s championship field is set, with the semifinals taking place Tuesday, October 29 and the championship Thursday, October 31 at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing.
The Bearcats (11-1, 5-0 CUNYAC), who are looking to capture their second staight CUNYAC title, will take on fourth-seeded Lehman (5-8, 2-3 CUNYAC). Tuesday’s other semifinal pits second-seeded Hunter (5-4, 4-1 CUNYAC) against No. 3 seed Brooklyn (3-10, 2-3 CUNYAC).
Baruch will be going for its third title in the last four years and ninth overall. The Bearcats defeated the Lightning 9-0 back on September 10.
Hunter, which last won the CUNYAC title in 2022 and has won a league-record 23 championships, takes on a Bulldog team it defeated 9-0 on October 5.
Tuesday’s semifinal winners will meet on Thursday.
