The surface at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram helps the pacers at the start with some lateral movement. The spinners play a decisive role here but if the pitch is a fresh one, the batters might hold the edge. This was the highest-scoring venue during the 2024 Bangladesh Premier League.

Lowest total recorded: 39 by Netherlands vs Sri Lanka, 2014
The Bangladesh side will depend a lot on their spinners- Mahedi Hasan and Tanvir Islam. Both of them have the quality to topple non SENA players and it would be interesting to see how they go about business. Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mahmudullah Riyad are other Bangladesh players who are reliable and can earn a lot of fantasy points.
The triumvirate of Sikandar Raza, Sean Williams and Craig Ervine are the top bets when it comes to Zimbabwe playing in Bangladesh. However, Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava have had the exposure to these conditions during BPL and hence could come handy as well.
Bangladesh are the sure shot favourites at their home despite missing out Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman.
Mahmudullah Riyad (BAN): The veteran has the ability to play important knocks with the bat lower down the order. He can also chip in with finger spin and bag wickets as well.
Najmul Hossain Shanto (BAN): The Bangladeshi skipper is one of their reliable batters and is a fantastic player of both spin and pace. Shanto would be looking to lead from the front.
Sikandar Raza (ZIM): After a below-par show in the IPL with the Punjab Kings, Raza would look to prove his mettle in the Bangladesh series. He can be super effective with the ball here. Also, Raza has the experience of batting in these tricky conditions.
Richard Ngarava(ZIM): The left-arm pacer may extract extra bit of bounce off the surface due to his height. He has the ability to bowl in slog overs as well as challenge the batters with the new white cherry.
Litton Das (BAN): The wicketkeeper-batter can be a great gamble as he bats at the top of the order and can attack the opposition inside the field restrictions. He has scored 119 runs from his last five matches.
Ryan Burl (ZIM): The all-rounder has the ability to pinch-hit at the later stages of the game. He has smashed 179 runs at an average hovering around 35 in his last nine matches. Burl can also be useful with some handy seam-up.
A fantasy team combination of 1-3-4-3 or 1-3-3-4 could be a formidable option to earn plenty of fantasy points.
