The company, which has a fulfilment centre in the city, was given the accolade by the Top Employers Institute, which honours organisations with outstanding human resources policies.
This is the third consecutive year that Amazon has been recognised as a top employer across Europe.
The Top Employers Institute assesses organisations based on their HR Best Practices Survey, which covers six domains including people strategy, work environment and diversity and inclusion.

In 2025, more than 2,429 organisations across 125 countries and regions were certified by the Top Employers Institute.
