Akasa Air has appointed Sejal Haribhakti Mody as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective September 9, 2024. Sejal will lead the airline’s HR strategy, supporting its goal of becoming one of the top 30 airlines globally by the end of the decade. She brings over 20 years of experience in HR, organisational change, and talent strategy across industries like FMCG, media, and consulting.
In her new role, Sejal will focus on organisational transformation, talent management, leadership development, and enhancing employee experience and culture. Before joining Akasa, she held senior HR roles at Hindustan Unilever, Disney Star, McKinsey & Co., and Accenture, bringing significant expertise in change management and workforce planning.
