Wisconsin native Hunter Wohler representing home state at NFL combine
After a successful career with the Wisconsin Badgers, safety Hunter Wohler is hoping to take his talents to the next level.
The NFL’s annual meat market, otherwise known as the NFL Scouting Combine, is here.
As more than 300 draft prospects make their way to Indianapolis to be poked, prodded, and asked questions that have nothing to do with football, owners and general managers try to sort through the mess and find the next superstar.
The workouts start Thursday when the defensive linemen and the linebackers, where a 40-yard dash could mean the difference in earning millions of dollars on a first contract. One prospect who won’t be participating is Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter, who has a foot injury that doesn’t require surgery, according to his agent.
