Before the season began, I stated: The 1,000-yard mark should be the floor if Barkley can stay healthy, while a career high in rush yards is very much on the table if he can make the most of his touches. It’s clear Barkley did exactly that and then some, rushing for an NFL-high 2,005 yards. He was instrumental to Philly’s offensive dominance, as he posted 11 100-yard rushing games in the regular season — and he continued to make defenses look rather pedestrian in the playoffs. In the Eagles’ three postseason wins ahead of Super Bowl LIX, Barkley amassed a whopping 442 rushing yards with five touchdowns. And on the biggest stage, Barkley ended up setting the NFL record for the most rushing yards in a single season, including playoffs (2,504).
