Eagles fan surprised with Super Bowl tickets in tribute to fallen friend
After losing his best friend Tiger to a terrorist attack, Eagles fan Ryan Quigley receives Super Bowl tickets to the big game in as a tribute to their bond.
The results have been tallied for our poll for the best sports bar to watch the Super Bowl in South Jersey.
And the winner is … Chickie’s & Pete’s in Marlton and Chickie’s & Pete’s in Atlantic City at the Tropicana.
We put them into one category since they are both Chickie’s & Pete’s locations. They took home 20.56% of the 214 votes, or 44 votes, topping second-place Skeeters Pub in Blackwood (30 votes) and the others.
P.J. Whelihan’s in Haddon Township came in third (29 votes), Whistlers Inn in Cinnaminson came in fourth (21 votes) and the Village Pub in Sewell (20 votes) came in fifth to round out the top five of the sports bar poll.
To create the poll, we asked readers to nominate their favorite sports bar or local restaurant to watch the Super Bowl. Then we took those 12 nominations and created a poll that readers could vote on.
The Philadelphia Eagles will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. in New Orleans.
By now, most people likely know where they will watch the big game, whether it’s at your own home, at a Super Bowl party or that favorite sports bar (maybe even one from this poll).
