There are plenty of fans and analysts who have become concerned about what the New York Knicks have currently shown in the last few games.
Losers of five of their last six contests, the Knicks have struggled to score when needed most, and have lapsed on their defensive improvements over the last few weeks.
Add in concerns about their lack of depth, and a starting roster that has played more minutes than any other group in the league, and you have plenty of reason for alarm bells to start ringing at Madison Square Garden.
One particular analyst isn’t biting on that concern, though.
ESPN and SNY reporter Frank Isola has made it clear that the Knicks problems aren’t insurmountable. He also used their opposition Wednesday night (the Philadelphia 76ers) as a reason for the organization to feel optimistic moving forward.
“And unlike the Knicks starters, the combined total minutes for the Sixers starters is at a manageable number,” Isola tweeted. “In fact, the New York Minutes Police are convinced the Sixers are on pace to be healthy and well rested when vacation begins April 15th.”
Isola’s tweet on Wednesday afternoon followed the announcement that former league MVP Joel Embiid would miss Wednesday’s contest against New York.

The 76ers as a whole sit at 15-23 on the season and in firm danger of missing the playoffs.
So while plenty of Knicks fans will grow concerned of the team’s struggles and lack of minute management from their coaching staff, Isola is here to remind everyone that it could be worse.
New York could be like Philly right now.
