The Chicago Bears will have a top-10 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, as their 5-12 record after Sunday’s 24-22 win over the Green Bay Packers landed them the No. 10 selection.
The Tennessee Titans, who finished 3-14, will be on the clock with the No. 1 overall pick. The Cleveland Browns and New York Giants also were 3-14, but the Titans had a weaker strength of schedule, which gave them the top choice.
Cleveland will draft second and New York third.
The New England Patriots entered the final week in pole position for the No. 1 pick, but they upset the playoff-bound Buffalo Bills on Sunday, dropping them to No. 4.
The New York Jets, Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints also finished 5-12, but the Bears had the toughest strength of schedule among those teams, putting their behind those teams in the draft order at No. 10.
This will mark the third consecutive year the Bears will draft in the top 10. In 2024, they took quarterback Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick (which they acquired from the Panthers) and wide receiver Rome Odunze with the No. 9 selection. In 2023, they picked offensive tackle Darnell Wright 10th overall.
Since 2015, the Bears have drafted in the top 10 seven times and in the top 11 eight times. They didn’t have a first-round pick three times in that span.
The Titans have the No. 1 overall pick for the first time since 2016, when they traded it to the Los Angeles Rams, who selected quarterback Jared Goff.
