The 29-year-old netted 19 times during the 2024 season, placing him equal third in the J-League first division. He is set to bolster a potent Hiroshima attack that scored the most goals in the J1 this year.
“I believe I’m entering my prime physically, mentally and skill-wise over these next few years. I will devote everything I have to helping Hiroshima win the championship,” Germain said in a statement from the club.
Iwata were relegated to the J2 after finishing 18th in the 20-team top flight this year.
